Close the Book on the Bills Trade
Dallas has now used the three picks it obtained from Buffalo for its 22nd overall pick last year. By passing up Stephen Jackson, the Cowboys acquired:
Spears has yet to play a down, but this looks like a pretty good trade to me.

No question, Buffalo is looking like the Minnesota for our next big run.
What role will Ryan have this next year? Can he block well enough to get on the field?

BP has definitely made his mark as a GREAT draft GOD.
and he is definitely making his mark on DALLAS. he has gotten us back to our feet in these past 3 years and has gotten us to be real contenders. he is also improving DEFENSE like crazy which i love.
next year, i feel, will be more of offense, probably a WR with the first rounder….but lets not jump that far yet…we still have pick 42 on the board!!!!

I must agree with everyone, The Tuna has shown his colors again. Excellent draft, so far.

It was a dream to think we could have Brodney fall to us after the kuck we had with Spears. i am sure our god bill has Josh Bullocks or James Butler already on the phone if not on the plane.

Webster, Green and a few other CBs still availble for cb/fs……….kid from FSU
if we are at 42 and Tuck and Roth are still available you think BP will be tempted to add another guy to his front seven rotation? Both of these players look like Parcells guys.
Since we passed on Clayton, I doubt we go WR here. Bill has drafted WR pretty late in the draft.

Great first two picks. I am so glad that Detroit took Williams. I dont think I could have passed him at pick 11 if he was still there. So thankyou Detroit. Your right J our luck just couldnt hold put a little longer to get Pool. Dang I wanted that guy. I guess we cant have them all. Has any one know much about Constantine, evrything I have read he sounds more like a strong saftey, can this guy cover? Or is Bullock the better cover guy? Go BOYS!!!

Definitely a great TRADE……..
Julius is going to gain 1500 yards + this year…….and catch another 500 out of the backfield……..
Marcus Spears……and Julius Jones………ask the Rams if they would swap Steven Jackson for Jones and Spears………their answer………Youre darn tootin……..
I am also glad we did not swap picks. As it turns out Bill got his first pick at a front seven guy, then the big planet man falls.
Excellent pre draft work up Rafael………..looks like we got the Thoroghbred and the Planet.
Now give me the best big CB left to add to our Mix of DBs. Get a WR in later rounds………Parcells found Troy Brown in round 6.

Great trade. I figured the Cowboys wouldn’t pick M Spears with the 20th simply because they drafted Ware. But now, the D-line looks incredible on paper. Obviously we need to wait and see how these fellows do in camp and preseason, but I think the Dallas D is back. In the immortal words of Jimmy Johnson, “HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS!!!”

Jon got me thinking of late round WR gems, where is that speedster Jerome Mathis going to end up?
i am not expecting much from numbers #208, 209 and 224. but Bill has pulled stuff out of nowhere before.
i just don’t see the depth holding up, the well is going to be dry for us after pick #148. unless you happen to be a practice squad junkie.

As I said a while ago, Bam Childress is pretty quick at WR, a bit undersized though. And he could possiblly be had with our late 6th’s or maybe even 7th
