Want all to know that I’ve told some family in Iraq about this thread and if they can there will be a few guys over there needing to hear a play by play from us if possible …. I never thought that when i mentioned the thread to my cousin he’d check it out and read during the game. San Diego has all 24 starters back (minus Gates); they were in contention for the Superbowl last year. It’s the season opener, they’re at home, AND……

I don’t think Dallas gave up at the end of the half. Julius got alot of his yards on draw plays and Parcells has confidence in giving him the ball on 3rd and long. It didn’t work, so they ran the clock out. I’m ok with that.
Man, Bledsoe is scaring the heck out of me, holding the ball for so long and the pocket closing on him.
Anthony Henry is having a great game. He’s playing everybody close. He needs to watch out they don’t air it out on him in 2nd half.
I’m not at all disappointed in a tie at half time.
S.D.‘s pass defense isn’t that great. Bledsoe should have 200 yards in 2nd half. Go Crayton!!!!!

Being able to only listen to the game, it sounds like Henry is playing up on his man and chucking him right off the snap. HE IS HAVING A MONSTER GAME! So far, it looks like he was money well spent. Bledsoe is playing like he has something to prove! Looks like the rookies on O and D are having first game jitters. All in all, we are doing GREAT!

Keeping in mind that sd’S defense is not the best, I am convinced that our offense will not be a problem this year. The problem will be our defense. But we are young and learning a new scheme. I know that it is an overused cliche, but ROME WAS NOT BUILT IN A DAY! GIVE IT TIME. I tell you, I am glad to see us move the ball again though!

This isn’t a team that wants stats, this is a team that wants W’s, you can create matchup problems with all the guys we’re going to have wide, there were times when Crayton was on the slot, then there was Glenn and then there was Key, how does a nickel corner prepares to face all those changing qualities in the guy playing the slot? Price will bring his input too in there. This Offense is for real.

I am also worried about the kick coverage and Bledsoe hanging on too long; lots of fumbles caused that way.

I’m very excited to see the Cowboys take advantage of another team’s mistakes. That’s been one of their biggest offensive weaknesses…that, and of course, PENALTIES. In the past, they have not done well when the opportunities presented themselves. Tonight, I’m happy.

I’ve gotta admit it, my heart was in my throat on that last play. I’ve seen us blow it so many times, I had pretty much accepted the loss, especially after they converted that 4th and 14.
When I saw that pick, I came up off the couch! People in the house thought I had really lost it.

Crayton is our #1 reciever in my book. Drew Bledsoe took a pounding and came through big time. I just don’t know if he can take that kind of beating for 16 games. I’d like to see us go out and get a vet backup. Is Neild O’Donnel available?

I think Cayton will be our first reciever next year, and dont count out Price, I think you will see a few 4 wide reciever sets.

Yeah we did need that sack. The guys came through big time tonight. I just wish they didn’t make it so hard on themselves. 5 straight penalties? That’s insane. Kickoff coverage has got to get better. Cortez can’t be our leading tackler on special teams. That’s not going to work.
