They’re still being WAY too conservative against this defense. Then again, they’re not in sync. The long pass to Crayton was dropped. Keyshawn can’t get his foot down. There is just no rhythm. And Bledsoe is getting time to throw.

yea, i wouldn’t define the running game as on track….that was a very spotty offensive performance…..and a very offensive defensive performance by our secondary….fortunately it looks like the D was turning it up in the second quarter….

Parcells should not dress MBIII next week! We should have used A- Train but w/ him not on the active roster. MBIII has not impressed me at all this year. Why hasn’t Tyson played more after his few plays i thought he gave Dallas a jolt of energy. HA HA RAiders and ther penalties!!!! gotta love it!

There was a pass to Crayton along the left sideline, and the cornerback weakly tried to force him out. The second defensive back coming over just gave up on the tackle, thinking Crayton was going out. He slipped away from the first guy, outran the second, and ran into the end zone for a 50-ish yard TD.

- Our line has looked real bad in run blocking. That counts for Witten and Campell too.
- However, JJ has no more excuses. 2 bad defenses in a row and he averaged just over 2 yards a carry. STOP BEING CONSERVATIVE.
- Speaking of conservative, I really think one of us can call a better game that Sean Payton.
- If the 3-4 is going to stay, Mike Zimmer can’t. I don’t think he can coach a 3-4 defense. He isn’t causing any kind of confusion or exotic blitzes.
- The rest of the NFC East is winning. Eagles and Giants 3-1, Redskins 3-0. We’re in the basement.
- Ware has to stop with the penalties. They killed us.
- Our defense can’t get a 3 and out.
- If we activate Polite over Price, play him more. If not, play Price. I still say give the guy a chance.

Could our run blocking be any worse? The offensive line is just plain aweful! Bledsoe had no time all day and when he actually does he doesn’t think he does. (can you say happy feet!) The last 2 plays were atrocious! He rushed both throws and had plenty of time! But if you have been pressured all day what else can a Qb think. If we can’t run against Oakland and fat ass Warren Sapp then we need to hang it up. Simply a terrible game for Cowboy Nation! It really makes me sick to my stomach to watch this crap!

We lost.. It is what it is! No excuses. We started 3 of out first 4 on the road & came out 2-2. Could we be 4-0… sure, but just as easily we could be 0-4. Take it for what it is, we are a .500 team. That honestly depends on what we can do w/ the rest of our suddenly pretty good division. We played Moss better than we have the previous 5 games. Who knows why it was Ware releasing Moss to Davis on the 79 yeard gain, but besides that we did well. Stop trying to find the blame for a loss & accept what we have.

I’ve been reading for a while, but this is my first post. This blog is great, and Rafael does a fine job. But, I can’t believe he was saying that Drew had time to throw the ball (maybe you were talking about early on)! He was having to dodge the blitz ALL DAY! And JJ hasn’t been running great for the most part BECAUSE of our offensive line in my opinion! Somehow Warren Fatt was beating LA often, and our backs just couldn’t pick up the blitz! Even though we got a penalty for roughing the passer, Drew (or any of our QBs for that matter) is not going to be around long if he keeps having to take those kind of (dirty) hits. Plus, I think he has shown he can throw the ball very well if he has time to look downfield – no QB is perfect everytime. I agree with CowboyUp – how is our offensive line getting beat consistently AND is struggling with run blocking when there are no less than 3 Pro-bowlers blocking? Also, when we picked up Drew, we knew we would have to block good, and we’re just not doing that. I hope we can get it straightened out, because other that that, I don’t think we’re that bad off! Everybody seems to have a problem with Parcells conservative style, but it CAN work if we do the little things – for example, I’m glad we have Keyshawn (the kind of guy you HATE if he’s not on your team), he usually does those very little things, but if he wouldn’t have jumped forward and made the illegal motion penalty, we could have won, or been closer, anyway! And I don’t think he needed to do that – I know they (WRs) want every advantage they can get, but i’m pretty sure he would have gotten that touchdown without doing that. That’s my two cents worth.
