Holiday Hankering

I'm considering giving myself satellite radio for Christmas. I'm intrigued by the chance to get all the NFL games live. Does anybody have the Sunday Drive, as it's called? What do you think of it?

I don’t, but I do have NFL Sunday ticket, which allows me to watch every NFL game on Sundays.

I do, it really isnt much more than your standard pregame show. They go a little more in depth but it isnt out of this world. If you you do a lot of driving it is worth it otherwise you will get the same out of nfl network on direct tv

If you’re just sitting at your computer on gamedays, the FieldPass option on NFL.com does the job for a flat rate of $35. Since I live in Redskins country, it has come in very handy for me.

Hi Rafael:
I also have just the Field Pass, because New Zealand Sky TV shows only the Sunday Night and Monday Night games on TV.
I think nfl.com has a special on Field Pass now, with the remaining games for 22.95(because the season is more than 1/2 finished).
The worst radio announcer I’ve heard so far is the Cincinatti guy. The New York Giants’ guy(Rob) is quite good.

IF you live in an areas with lots of hills forget satalite. Signal goes in and out. FieldPass is my choice. I listen to the game when the Boys arent on tv and enjoy watching game center as the game is played.

Raf,

Let me know my site sells Sirius and XM. Sirius has the NFL. I have XM and love it, but then I prefer to watch the NFL…….both have ticker features for scores and XM has ACC football and basketball along with Big 10, Pac and Fox, Espn.

One nice thing if you listen to sports radio it sure beats the old AM crap!!!

Just log on here! Some days you can tell what’s going on without even watching the game.

I have Sirius Satelite Radio. It’s the greatest! I wouldn’t trade it for any thing else. All I listen to is the NFL channel all week; then on Sundays every Cowboys game is available with announcers home and away. Of course, I always listen to the Cowboys announcers. I’m on the road alot and don’t always get to watch the games, so Sirius is just what I needed. I recommend it highly!

Pick the one that has the least amount of Theisman bantering. Its becoming unbearable listening to this guy. Anyone else feel this way? I kind of want to start a petition to get him removed.

actally it hard to replace TV. The NFL network is hard to beat.

Best package out there is:

-NFL Sunday Ticket – Super Fan: $250
-HD TV Monitor 48": $1500
-HD Receiver from Direct TV: $350 or $400
-Monthly Subs for DirectTV: $60 – $100

It’s a one time investment of about $2000 with a monthly charge of about $120 and you’ll be a happy man on sundays (specially now that we’re winning games).

For those of us who have sat TV but like to listen to the announcers (Sham and Laufenberg) on the radio, the 8 second delay is a killer. Someone pointed me to this — http://www.delayplayradio.com/ — to combat the problem. Has anyone tried it or heard if it works right? A little steep but would seem to solve the problem…
