Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse. USC’s offensive line IS better than this bunch!

Ok. My optimism is gone. It’s time to get drunk!

The Cowboys don’t look to be the team we had hoped they would be, that they need to be late in the season.
by StarStruck on Dec 4, 2005 1:41 PM CST reply actions
Time to start watching college football and discuss draft picks. This year is done.SEE YA
by DNE on Dec 4, 2005 1:41 PM CST reply actions
Two names to remember:
1. Kevin Mawae. He’s getting old, but he’s still a horse. His huge contract is coming up and the Jets are cleaning house. Today shows neither center can play.
2. Ryan Young, C, Fresno State. He’s a junior but if he comes out, will go straight to the top of Dallas’ wish list.
When you can’t stop pressure right up the gut, and this team can’t, you can’t do anything.
by Rafael Vela on Dec 4, 2005 1:42 PM CST reply actions
The offensive line was supposed to be much improved, but Flo’s injury, and Rivera looking like a bad pick-up, has doomed this season. Draft a lot of o-line help in April!
by onepaniolo on Dec 4, 2005 1:43 PM CST reply actions
This team will be hard pressed to make the playoffs, I looking at a 9-7 season.
by Derrick on Dec 4, 2005 1:43 PM CST reply actions
yeah.. they need to all be fired
yeah.. they need to all be firedsuck suck suck suck

we’re still in it folks, don’t lose the faith
by TO's Agent on Dec 4, 2005 1:45 PM CST reply actions
Yeah, this loser o-line is not going to get it done in the red zone. I hope I’m wrong, but haven’t seen anything yet to change my mind!
by onepaniolo on Dec 4, 2005 1:47 PM CST reply actions
Well that’s 3 more than we had a few minutes ago!
by sharkz on Dec 4, 2005 1:50 PM CST reply actions
Yeah, the bandwagon lost a wheel. That’s why it stopped.
by onepaniolo on Dec 4, 2005 1:50 PM CST reply actions
Yeah and you people wonder why Cowboys fans get s$%# for being bandwagon jumpers be real fans and have some faith
by Shotgunr50 on Dec 4, 2005 1:51 PM CST reply actions
Nah, I’m still here and always will be. I’m just frustrated. I hate to see happy fans of the NFC East opponents.
That was a decent drive. A good turnover or two and we are back in it.
by Joe Bradley on Dec 4, 2005 1:51 PM CST reply actions
if we lose today we’ll be tied with the vikings in the wild card race…unbelievable
by ba on Dec 4, 2005 1:51 PM CST reply actions
Mantab,
Stay with us brother,we will get this fixed, it might not be this year, but this teams is alot farther down the road to success than we’ve been over the last six years.
by Derrick on Dec 4, 2005 1:52 PM CST reply actions
I’ve been on the bandwagon since 1971. I only get off to go pee!
The o-line WILL get an overhaul this offseason, like how the d-line did this past offseason.
Bill will not stand for this. There will be moves made this offseason to revamp this bunch!
by onepaniolo on Dec 4, 2005 1:52 PM CST reply actions
were going to get the ball back, nice defensive series
by Derrick on Dec 4, 2005 1:55 PM CST reply actions
D-Ware!!!!!!
I’m too old and been a fan too long to be a bandwagoneer. I am just very frustrated that we’re getting our butts kicked in NY! I hate NY!!!!!!!
by onepaniolo on Dec 4, 2005 1:55 PM CST reply actions
we have had comebacks in NY before…….time to go do it again…..but geez are we ever going to stop spotting teams so many darn points?
by Jon on Dec 4, 2005 1:56 PM CST reply actions
It’s just sad to see that we were doing good this year. This O-Line will not get any better in the last games and if we make the playoffs, we’ll be lucky to win one game…it’s just sad….I know the team is headedin the right direction and we’re just a couple of good players away…
by ManTab on Dec 4, 2005 1:57 PM CST reply actions
Bledose needs to take chances goign long….their secondary sucks
by ManTab on Dec 4, 2005 1:58 PM CST reply actions
Shotgunr50,
Real fans cheer their team when it’s good, rip their team when it sucks. That’s why we’re FANATICS!
Bandwagoneers don’t follow the draft, and know nothing about the team’s history! I can’t see how you can call regulars of this blog bandwagoneers. We have too much invested in this thing to be sometime fans!
by onepaniolo on Dec 4, 2005 1:59 PM CST reply actions
cant watch the game but i see the score are we playing like crap or are they just playing good???
by mike on Dec 4, 2005 2:01 PM CST reply actions
Yeah, Derrick. I guess I have to get off the bandwagon to do that too! I don’t wanna stink up our wagon! LOL
by onepaniolo on Dec 4, 2005 2:02 PM CST reply actions
get a touchdown on this drive and were right back in it
by Derrick on Dec 4, 2005 2:02 PM CST reply actions
seems like we are always flat in the first half of a game and then we start to play in the second half
by mike on Dec 4, 2005 2:03 PM CST reply actions
Remember that game where Emmitt single-handedly (or single-shoulderly) won the game? I’m predicting a heroic performance like that from Julius this half.
by Joe Bradley on Dec 4, 2005 2:03 PM CST reply actions
joe,
which game when he was younger he did it a few times, but i think you mean in 93 if i remeber right with the serperated shoulder
by mike on Dec 4, 2005 2:04 PM CST reply actions
Joe, with that line, if JJ does soemthing similar, Jerry should build him a statue right in the middle of Dallas
by ManTab on Dec 4, 2005 2:04 PM CST reply actions
allrighty then lets put 7 on the board here and rule the 4th quarter for a division LEAD!!!
by Jon on Dec 4, 2005 2:06 PM CST reply actions
Mike, he is getting killed because our Offensive line is the worst thing ever created on earth
by ManTab on Dec 4, 2005 2:07 PM CST reply actions
YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Who said A Glenn was too old!!!!!!!!!!!
by onepaniolo on Dec 4, 2005 2:08 PM CST reply actions

by mike on Dec 4, 2005 2:08 PM CST reply actions

T Glenn Yeaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!!!!!1
by onepaniolo on Dec 4, 2005 2:10 PM CST reply actions
Pray for Aaron Gle4n’s ankle. We have a ball game. 17-10 with three and a half minutes left in the third.
BTW, Glenn was horsecollared by Burress.
by Rafael Vela on Dec 4, 2005 2:10 PM CST reply actions
Way to go ’Boys!!! Glenn with the pick, Glenn with the TD.
I’m just concerned they scored too fast. They didn’t give A. Glenn time to shake off the injury.
by Joe Bradley on Dec 4, 2005 2:10 PM CST reply actions
he was running on the sidelines…he’s OK….hope he keeps it up
by ManTab on Dec 4, 2005 2:11 PM CST reply actions

by Shotgunr50 on Dec 4, 2005 2:13 PM CST reply actions

by MikeA on Dec 4, 2005 2:15 PM CST reply actions
Plexiglass tried to steal one from Irvin’s book, but got caught pushing off. Yeah!!!
by onepaniolo on Dec 4, 2005 2:15 PM CST reply actions
I hope they dont keep throwing at him..it is a huge missmatch….even if the guy has 2 picks and is playing good…I am still scared of him
by ManTab on Dec 4, 2005 2:15 PM CST reply actions
we need better a better kicker for kickoffs… i wonder if they have tried mcbriar, im sure they have. seeme like the other team almost always has good starting position
by mike on Dec 4, 2005 2:15 PM CST reply actions
Cowboys are treating the Giants like they did us in the first half!!!!
by sharkz on Dec 4, 2005 2:16 PM CST reply actions
mike,
I imagine kicking the ball in this cold weather is like kicking a rock and with the cold air temperature, the ball just doesn’t carry well at all

Real fans DO THROW FITS! Bandwagoneers would never find this Blog, let alone take time to participate. So, go easy on the bandwagoneer stuff. Haven’t you cheered your team on in a sportsbar? Yeah, it’s that intense! That’s what being a fan is all about, man! It’s a freakin’ rollercoaster ride!

ManTab,
He’s got two picks!! I’m not an Aaron Glenn fan, but he’s doing a hell of a job. I’ll get on him if he sucks, but he doesn’t, so get off it! Who on that sideline would you rather have in there? Henry did not make the trip!
by onepaniolo on Dec 4, 2005 2:30 PM CST reply actions
there’s no question, he’s got to be in there if Henry is not playing….that doesnt make him good
by ManTab on Dec 4, 2005 2:32 PM CST reply actions

come on Pettiti give it everything you’ve got!!!

by ManTab on Dec 4, 2005 2:35 PM CST reply actions
ManTab,
No, it doesn’t make him good, but he’s the best we’ve got right now, and he’s been making plays. I’m just happy that we have him instead of Dwayne Goodrich, Mario Edwards, or any of the others we’ve had in the past.
Go Cowboys!!

by ManTab on Dec 4, 2005 2:47 PM CST reply actions
lets make them pay for that miss.
If the giants lose, I’d hate to be in new York if I were feeley, maybe you could call Cundiff for advice
by Derrick on Dec 4, 2005 2:47 PM CST reply actions
Drive it down, use all the clock, score a touchdown, get the duece. Let’s go home with a win.

the bears d?? i wouldnt be complaining about our d if i were you..maybe, “i wish we had indy’s offense” would make more sense
by ba on Dec 4, 2005 2:53 PM CST reply actions
actually our defense is good another 10pts given up not bad at all. are offense what happened to it? flozell crayton? old age?
by mike on Dec 4, 2005 2:53 PM CST reply actions
Mike, our defense is good enough. We need Indy’s offense.
by onepaniolo on Dec 4, 2005 2:54 PM CST reply actions

that’s the 2nd drop by Crayton, what’s up with him
by ManTab on Dec 4, 2005 2:55 PM CST reply actions

by ManTab on Dec 4, 2005 2:56 PM CST reply actions

by onepaniolo on Dec 4, 2005 2:57 PM CST reply actions
wait till next year…there’s nothing else you can do
by ManTab on Dec 4, 2005 2:59 PM CST reply actions
Our biggest game of the year, and we lose by the biggest margin of the year….. How fitting. With this offense, we don’t go anywhere.
by onepaniolo on Dec 4, 2005 2:59 PM CST reply actions
we need a dynamic receiver tall strong fast if we could find 1 that would be a good teamate that would be super, and o-line help
by mike on Dec 4, 2005 2:59 PM CST reply actions
Who in here kinda had a wish we had T.O. thought now I hate the guy but damn
by Shotgunr50 on Dec 4, 2005 3:00 PM CST reply actions
our play calling is stupid!!! please get rid of payton!!!!
by jpmonty on Dec 4, 2005 3:00 PM CST reply actions
The defense keeps us in the game and gives us opportunities, and the offense gives it away.
We not only need a new o-line, we need a QB as well. Ouch!!!!!
by onepaniolo on Dec 4, 2005 3:01 PM CST reply actions
shotgun
kinda what im implying but im scared hell do to us what he did to the eagles
by mike on Dec 4, 2005 3:01 PM CST reply actions
well, well, well, we got one timeout and were getting the ball back
by Derrick on Dec 4, 2005 3:02 PM CST reply actions
hey mike
your not hinting on Owens are you?
It doesn’t matter what receivers you have
we could have Jerry Rice in his prime along with Irvin and still suck
if we don’t have a good Oline. That is priority #1. That’s it. That is the answer.
by MikeA on Dec 4, 2005 3:02 PM CST reply actions
Wow, and we dodge another one! Bad play calling plagues both teams.
by onepaniolo on Dec 4, 2005 3:02 PM CST reply actions
yeah but what at the 3?
slim slim chance..
but at least there is one
by MikeA on Dec 4, 2005 3:03 PM CST reply actions
Yeah o-Line is what we need but it’s hard to not wish we had a dynamic scares other teams kind of reciever
by Shotgunr50 on Dec 4, 2005 3:03 PM CST reply actions
if they overturn that call, I’m buying beers for the rest of the year
by Derrick on Dec 4, 2005 3:04 PM CST reply actions
another crappy throw by Bledsoe..
he’s throwing at the ground
by MikeA on Dec 4, 2005 3:06 PM CST reply actions
Bledsoe loves to hang on to that ball!!! Ouch!!!!
by onepaniolo on Dec 4, 2005 3:07 PM CST reply actions
give Bledsoe time and you have Crayton and Glen = scary
by MikeA on Dec 4, 2005 3:08 PM CST reply actions
Three guys rushing, and this o-line can’t stop them. Sigh……..
by onepaniolo on Dec 4, 2005 3:10 PM CST reply actions
hail marry!!!!!!!
Its not bledsoes fault, this offensive line gives him no time
by Derrick on Dec 4, 2005 3:10 PM CST reply actions
Bledsoe lurching around like he’s hammered, but at least he’s moving—unlike his linemen just standing around. How did this team get 7 wins?
by Maurice on Dec 4, 2005 3:10 PM CST reply actions
What a sorry offense we have. With a resurgent Minnesota Vikings, we don’t make the playoffs with this offense. Pitiful bunch! Peerless Price is watching on his sofa LHAO.
For those that are hoping to land T.O., what makes you think that he wants to play with this o-line?
by onepaniolo on Dec 4, 2005 3:13 PM CST reply actions
10 seconds to go, needing a touchdown just to tie…and what do we do??? a frickin’ screen pass! Talk about a BRAIN DEAD call!
I will give credit to the Giants defense. They manhandled the Cowboys on both sides of the ball….BUT..the Cowboys STILL had a chance to win this game and they didn’t do it. It ain’t over yet but we have to play much better if we want to get anywhere.
by Cowboy 88 on Dec 4, 2005 3:14 PM CST reply actions
At least they had fun, and Aaron Glenn’s ankle seems OK. As Parcells says, “…we have some work to do to get ready for KC”.
by Lee on Dec 4, 2005 3:14 PM CST reply actions
You know, you can’t even be upset at this loss!
I’m even tired of talking about how screwed up BP/SP are in their conservative-play-calling-BS!
This offense play calling was better when we had the absolutely worst QB ever drafted, Quincey Carter, and the worst starting RB ever in Troy Hambrick!
But this is the second eminently winnable game in a row, that the Cowboys lost due to the combination BP/SP/DB.
Drew the last two weeks, has given up the winning TD to the Defense.
But the real thing that keeps this team down, in addition to that, is the O-Line; absolutely abyssmal; it’s time for a major refocusing effort on the O-Line exclusively in the Draft and FA; because this team cannot make the next step, without at least 3 new starters on the O-Line.
Sad, pitiful loss, just like the Thanksgiving day game; very sad.
by Dale in Atlanta on Dec 4, 2005 3:15 PM CST reply actions
this offense sucks big time…the Oline makes the whole thing look horrible…
by ManTab on Dec 4, 2005 3:16 PM CST reply actions
Case in point, the Play that lost the game; the call/result right after Julius Jone’s 9yard run; and they can’t pick up a 1st down! Pitiful, just pitiful, and that’s on BP/SP; what a crock…
But aside from Bledsoe, Julius Jones showed what a bonehead he is too; twice having a chance to go out of bounds, and not, what a fool…
by Dale in Atlanta on Dec 4, 2005 3:17 PM CST reply actions
Just seems like the other team always wants it more.
by Maurice on Dec 4, 2005 3:18 PM CST reply actions
The offense started out with a bang in San Diego, then made us worry against the Redskins. Against the Raiders, they showed us who they really are….. Just Short!
The season is done. I don’t expect this offense to score more than 13 points a game the rest of the way.
Petitti, playing in front of his folks, looked like he doesn’t belong.
This offensive line should all be looking for work this off-season. Maybe they’re the real reason why Dat is contemplating retirement. LOL
by onepaniolo on Dec 4, 2005 3:19 PM CST reply actions
O-line is the foundation of the offensive problems. They have to execute their assignments before you can blame BP/SP/DB.
by Sean on Dec 4, 2005 3:22 PM CST reply actions
T.O. would be a fool to think about coming to Dallas. With this o-line, he’ll be spending a lot of time standing in the middle of the field with his arms up in the air, while Bledsoe is standing there holding the ball waiting for the pass rush to get to him. LOL
by onepaniolo on Dec 4, 2005 3:25 PM CST reply actions
IM SO FRICKEN PISSED!!!!WE HAVE 8 DAYS TO PREPARE AND WE PLAY LIKE THIS..
by manster65 on Dec 4, 2005 3:26 PM CST reply actions

OFFSEASON “To Do List”
Improve the O-line depth!
by Rev. Michael on Dec 4, 2005 3:38 PM CST reply actions
Hey, we were 7-3, once! Unfortunately, somebody forgot to tell the team that the season is 16 games, NOT 10.
My homerism went away today. This offense sucks too much.
BTW, I hope they dump that throwback uniform they wore on Turkey Day.
by onepaniolo on Dec 4, 2005 3:38 PM CST reply actions
Sean Payton must go. We can move the ball in the 2 min offense, we need to move the ball the rest of the game. I understand the defence scheme, but thats no excuse. We must go down the field!
by Greg on Dec 4, 2005 3:39 PM CST reply actions
The season is not over!!
There are still 4 games left and the boys are still alive.
Marco Rivera is turning into a FA bust, but we know where we stand. we have 3 young players on the O-Line and two vets whose best days appear to be behind them. flozell is younger and will be back next year. Johnson appears to be a good center. We have peterman on the roster who can push for a starting guard position next year so we are one or two lineman away with tucker, gurode, and petitti as decent backups.
Give bledsoe some time and a running game and he has demonstrated what he can do.
Its early december and we can still get into the playoffs, maybe even still win the division (Did anyone see anything about the NYG at home that scared you to death. 3 of their last 4 are on the road. With this D, anything can happen so we are still alive. Stay motivated!!

I have never thought the Cowboys’ play calling was conservative. It always has seemed to me that that the plays called merely tried to make the most of what that talent available was capable of, in light of down/distance/score/time.
However, the 3rd and 1 where Bledsoe threw a quick but incomplete pass to a triple covered receiver, is just mystifying to me.
Why wasn’t a run called? why didn’t bledsoe call a QB sneak at the line? Why didn’t they go for it on fourth? That failed 3rd down conversion turned the tide of momentum and that was it offensively for the Cowboys today.
They weren’t running well, but they could’ve picked up ONE YARD.

BTW,
whoever it was that said A. Glenn sucks, did you see him today?
by Jarhead on Dec 4, 2005 3:45 PM CST reply actions
Glenn prety much shut down Plaxico every time he was on him. I don’t think anyone can stop that come back route if its run right.
by Sean on Dec 4, 2005 3:46 PM CST reply actions
By the way, Witten had 1 catch for 5 yards today. The offense is just in disarray. It’s disgusting to watch.

We,ve got to stop giving up TDs to the other team’s D. thats the difference in the last two games. Lets not write them off yet.

Bill likes to RUN the ball so much on first down that maybe we should RUN him out of town. Block the airports. Let’s not let his fat ask back to Texas.
by Jim on Dec 4, 2005 3:54 PM CST reply actions
two to three critical players from actually going into games knowing we will win. Now it is a chance we can win.

Wow,
BP has put this team back on the map and turned our years of terrible drafts completely around.
BP and JJ were committed to YOUNG players this year for a reason.
by Jarhead on Dec 4, 2005 3:58 PM CST reply actions
Hey everyone we may indeed be hitting a wall as far as this years team goes and with KC and Carolina looming we may have some trouble finishing strong but on the other hand step back and take in the whole thing we have a young team that with a few more aquisitions can be explosive so don’t worry we’ll be alright for the next few years
by Gavin on Dec 4, 2005 4:00 PM CST reply actions
Think about the Cowboys team we had exactly one year ago. Now think about this one. Quite an improvement, I think.
by AmosM on Dec 4, 2005 4:05 PM CST reply actions
Man you guys cant be fans, you give up too easily. Yeah our offense is bad, but did you see our Defense today? If Henry was 100% healthy we would have held the best offense to 6 points.
Looked Good:
- Canty, and the whole D Line.
- James, made one big mistake but had a good overall game.
- Glenn, Mantab did you watch him play?
Looked Bad:
Bledsoe, a horrible game, he didnt have time and when he did he didnt think he did
- Crayton, where was he?
- Petiti, this guy isnt good. We all bash Rivera when Petiti is doing absolutly horrible next to him.
- Witten, where was he?
- SEAN PAYTON. The guy cant call a game. 3rd a 1 and we really need the 1st and he throws. When we havent protected all day.
Our D is going to be flat out NASTY next year. We’re Eagles fans next week.

Jim,
The NFL doesn’t allow the press into the locker room until 15 minutes have passed so players and coaches won’t say something stupid.
You might need to follow the same rule, cause your comment is, well, stupid.

How about drafting some young studs on offense? Julius is a bust so far, and as far as receivers go, just plain average. Can’t break away from the defenders. No wonder teams stack the line, and Bledsoe is an old man. Drafting Henson was a joke a couple of years ago. Maybe pick up David Carr after the hapless Texans dump his ass, that’s not going to happen though.
by gw on Dec 4, 2005 4:10 PM CST reply actions
The D held the explosive NYG offense to 10 POINTS at their home.
The NYG are now one game ahead of us with 4 games left to play. NY plays 3 of those on the road (BTW they had 9 home games this year). Their last home game is against the cheifs. This is not over. dont write the O off just yet.
by Jarhead on Dec 4, 2005 4:11 PM CST reply actions
Ok, chiefs, not cheifs. Remember that snickers commercial?
“Great man, who are the chefs?”
by Jarhead on Dec 4, 2005 4:13 PM CST reply actions
LOL Carr is worst then Bledsoe right now.
Jarhead,
Yeah dont write them off. Crayton was adjusting back I hope. I think Parcells will take away the play calling duties this week to jumpstart the offense. JJ isnt a bust, he doesnt have a FB, and his tackles are bad at run blocking. He was a 2nd round pick, not a #1.
Giants have played 8 home games, they should have a game up on us now. We still have 2 more at home, including the Redskins on the road. We need to win either the Panthers game or the Chiefs game, maybe Carolina will have things wrapped on by Xmas and take it easy lol.

Points out of this shi++y game:
Positives:
+ Aaron Glenn is a playmaker.
+ Demarcus Ware is having a great second half of the season, in this game he draw at least 3 holding penalties that weren’t called that should have been sacks, more of this in negatives.
+ The play calling is fine, Bledsoe threw the ball 39 times and had some long throws, his line prevents the coaching staff out of more off those, unless you want Bledsoe to be killed by a 3 man rush, I’m ok if they keep this that way.
+ What a game by Julius, I guess it came unnoticed for some, but he finished with 74 yards running (21 att) and 88 yards catching (9 catches) that’s a 162 all purpose yards effort.
+ This DLine is surely a dominating one, they made Manning look like a rookie for a second consecutive time. Something that surely will be missed by most of the mediots…
Negatives:
- That first half play of the OLine is the worst one I’ve seen since the one Dallas had in 2001, the year of that carrousel OLine, it was a little better in the second half with the exception of 2 plays in which they faced a 3 man front and still got to Bledsoe. Things need to be addressed in the offseason.
- The lack of yellow hankerships in the ground in several OLine holdings against our D (especially 2 from Petitgout to Ware and one against Canty that were extremely obvious) and a couple of pass interferences to Glenn and Keyshawn that weren’t called. Referees in the past 2 NY games were dressed in blue and white.
- And don’t have a true fullback anymore.
Summarizing:
I don’t think that Dallas is going anywhere, now I can see them finishing 9-7 and out of the playoffs, there’s no way in which Dallas can win against Kansas (look at the Kansas game against NE and a discussion could be made between which line is worst, the one of Dallas or the one at NE) and against Carolina. Hell, even at Washington, where Bledsoe’s going the be harrased by 5 to 8 man fronts that this OLine is uncapable of stop.
Look up for next season, I want Steve Hutchinson of Seattle and Chris Hope of Pitt. Then through the draft take Center, OLB and a blocking TE in rounds 1 to 3 and you have a diferent team, considering that Flozell takes Tucker out of the starting lineup and Petitti battles Columbo, Price and Tucker.
by Chandus on Dec 4, 2005 4:25 PM CST reply actions
Chandus,
Julius needed to get out of bounds twice in the end. You have to know where you are on the field. Young player mistake i guess.
We can beat anyone with this D. We just need some more consistancy from the O-line. We can be KC.
by Jarhead on Dec 4, 2005 4:30 PM CST reply actions
We can beat the Chiefs, we will be at home and we just have to stop Johnson. Green is having a bad year. Chandus your right tho, a 3 man rush getting to Bledsoe is just pathetic. Even at the end of the game when they werent trying, they were still getting to Bledsoe. If we split between them and Carolina we have a realistic chance. We actually need to beat Carolina more because its a conference game. ATL doesnt look good and Minny is overrated.
by Lou on Dec 4, 2005 4:32 PM CST reply actions
And heres great news for Cowboys fans: Atlanta is 4-4 in conference.
by Lou on Dec 4, 2005 4:37 PM CST reply actions
rafael. offensive line to blame.they looked better in second half but they absolutely killed us.defense did it’s job once again.
by nando on Dec 5, 2005 9:00 AM CST reply actions
I stand by what I said. Bledsoe needs to go. Sure he can pick a part a defense if you give him time. Probably is, only teams with some type of defense make it to the Super Bowl. Dallas cannot win with him at the helm. I know he is better than anything we’ve had lately, but he isn’t the answer and we must keep looking…
by Transplanted Dallas native in NYC on Dec 5, 2005 9:25 AM CST reply actions
As someone noted about picking up Carr. I wouldn’t be opposed to that, but remember this. Carr’s problem is that his offensive line is non-existent. Dallas is having trouble too. (Not that it’s as bad as Houston’s though…) Jones isn’t a bust, the O-line is. I know Tucker had problems with Strahan, but I cannot blame him completely for that. It’s like throwing a mouse in the lions den. Though I do expect him to get better. Of course Umenyiora is a beast too and both require double teams… Larry Allen on the other hand seems like he doesn’t even care sometimes. I think it’s about time to let him go also. I wonder how many years are left on his contract.
by Transplanted Dallas native in NYC on Dec 5, 2005 9:35 AM CST reply actions
I think Larry Allen does indeed care, didn’t you see him nearly rip off Cortez head back in one of the earlier games?
