Cowboys keep hope alive; beat Panthers 24-20
Just got back from the sports bar where I watched the Cowboys pull off the Christmas eve miracle. They actually went on the road and beat the Carolina Panthers to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Special recognition to a couple of players who came up huge during the game. Julius Jones and DeMarcus Ware carried the Boys to victory.
I'll be back later tonight with a more detailed recap. But for now, just celebrate the moment and we'll break down what we need to happen for us to make the playoffs. If anybody out there already has it figured out, write up a diary.
One last thing, you always gotta believe until the fat lady sings, and she hasn't sung yet.

WHO WAS THAT!!!!!!!!!!!
And another "WHO WAS THAT" goes to Demarcus Ware! Where has that guy been since the middle of the season?
Also, Gurode (sp)...didn't even miss Mark Rivera, he held his own and did a great job at it. I actually think he did better the Mark has been playing lately. The ends got beat a few times, but did a decent job.
This was truely a team effort, and I can't say enough about the boys. Offense, defense, special teams (except the kickers) really came togther as a team today and covered each others back. When we play like this, we can hang with anybody.
Who knows, with a little help from some other teams and a win next week (ain't over yet), we might get in and do some damage in the "tournament". And if JJ "is back", like Troy said during the game, he will cause some teams a few problems in the play-offs.
GO COWBOYS AND MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!

playoffs
playoffs
- Washington MUST lose at Philly or
- Carolina MUST lose at Atlanta and
- Minnesota MUST lose either at Balt. or vs Chicago
If this is right, then I'd say we have a great chance to get in.
