All I want for Christmas is for my Cowboys to win. Happy Holidays and the best to all your families in the new year.

top 5 reasons the c-boys will literally squeak out a victory today:
5.short to intermediate passing game will be re-introduced with bledsoe executing calmly from the shotgun and 3-step drops – with, at various times, tackle help on either side.
4.c-boys d will finally rise to mid-season expectations and stop the panthers running game.
3.we’ll finally see enough emotional fire to ignite the young flat-liners. “free demarcus ware.”
2.julius jones – w/the help of rising star mb3 – will FINALLY have his ‘05 breakout game – highlighted by at least 2 20+ yard runs. and finally,
!.t-new, partially in response to the pro bowl snub, will score the go-ahead td on either an int. return for a td, or punt return for the same…or at least set up the go-ahead score.
- well, my actual lenses are blue tinted, though today upon waking they’ve assumed a rose-ish hue. this must be a sign…
besides, positivity is the only viable philosophy for times like these: read desperate.cowboys 17 – panthers 13. ’nuff said.

Well….if dreams mean anything, the Cowboys win in a very odd 15-0 or 18-0(it was kinda fuzzy) defensive struggle, otherwise I’m gonna go with Cowboys 17 panthers 14……
by sharkz on Dec 24, 2005 7:05 AM CST reply actions
I just don’t see the Cowboys, who obviosly didn’t get up for the Redkins game (for-crying-out-loud), making a rebound against the Panthers. I’ll watch and hope but in the Skins game I saw no fight and no heart in this team. They’d better have both today. My answer is, give the ball to Marion Barber any way you can. Luck to the Cowboys and Merry Christams to all Cowboys and Cowboy fans

I have a feeling there is going to be a phase of Dallas performance (you pick — stopping the run, pass protection, or yards running) that is going to break out in this game. It will throw Carolina’s game plan out of wack. It will also be a catalyst for the other areas to excel. Dallas upset win for Christmas. You heard it here first gentleman.

Anyone else hear Mel Kiper call the cowboys O-line the worst in the NFL. He said if there was one worse, it would be in the Canadian Football league.

Merry, Happy, to everyone here!!
It has been a great run this year and I think the Boys go hog wild today and gash the Panthers
Dallas 27 Carolina 17
Dallas gets 10 points from the Defense.

I hate to say this but I don’t feel very good about this game today. The good news is that I felt very good about the Redskin game and you all know what happened so I guess that means we will blowout the Panthers. Go Cowboys!
by Rev. Michael on Dec 24, 2005 10:07 AM CST reply actions
I think Carolina is trying real hard not to underestimate Dallas but I think they are. The offensive tackles had a great practice (washington game) and prior games (NYx2)to prepare for Panther’s defensive ends. No one thinks that our tackles have maxed out on the learning curve and I have to expect that they have the ability to improve — and will do so this game. Rev Michael: have faith — come child, get out of the boat and walk on the water today — its an upset special for Christmas!
by linus on Dec 24, 2005 10:17 AM CST reply actions
The Cowboys are the more desperate team, all week we’ve been saying this is our season, its do or die, etc. etc. Carolina has been saying that this isnt going to be easy. We have Parcells and all they have is Steve Smith. Delhomme doesnt scare me, neither does their line or their RB. It’s up to the D! Merry xmas.
by lou c on Dec 24, 2005 10:17 AM CST reply actions
I’m soo ready for this kick-off. I agree with Lou, the only thing they have is Steve Smith which plays right to our defensive strength. Ware has got to have some bruised pride with Merriman getting the recognition. He will be making a statement today(poor Jake).
MB3 softens up the middle of the Panther’s D with Gurode having a game that can keep him in the league for another year. JJones gets his track shoes on for some sweeps taking advantage of the crashing DTs.
I’m mixing up another batch of Kool-Aid. Belly-up to the bar, boys and have nice tall one.
Also, take a minute to go vote again. I can’t believe it is even close.

I’m in Kansas City so the Dallas game won’t be on. Hope I can find a radio link. Keep good play by play for me boys
by linus on Dec 24, 2005 11:08 AM CST reply actions
Dallas is Done. They’re not going to win this game, look for bledsoe to get sacked all day, Carolina doesn’t need eight in the Box stop Dallas running game, they will do what everyone else does, ignore the run and have a meeting where bledsoe is standing with the ball.
by Derrick on Dec 24, 2005 11:27 AM CST reply actions
i do think the defense is gonna gonna come out with a vengence today. i hope the offense does as well. heres to a good christmas eve and we are all happy in about 3 and a half hours. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND LETS GO COWBOYS

any help with internet radio broadcast, or as much info during the game will be hugely appreciated
by mike on Dec 24, 2005 11:50 AM CST reply actions
Hey Linus, you can get NFL Field Pass from www.nfl.com for 9.95 for the month and listen to the broadcast from Dallas if you can’t watch it.
by bushpilot on Dec 24, 2005 11:52 AM CST reply actions
Mike, I’m up here in Alaska, and can’t get Directv where I am right now, and they show a lot of Seahawk games, so that NFL Field Pass is the way to go if you want to listen to the Dallas broadcast. Also, you can flip back and forth to any radio feed for any of the games.
by bushpilot on Dec 24, 2005 11:54 AM CST reply actions
Mike,
I get the games off Sirius. It cost me $70 for a tuner and $15 to activate it. The NFL is part of the $13 monthly fee. I can listen to home and away broadcasts of all the games. The nice part is I can take it in my car on tune it in to any radio in my house. I’m not tethered to the computer.

I’d be more than happy to eat crow if the Cowboys win,
Petitti and tucker against Rucker and Peppers, could be a long day for Bledsoe.

its not his groin, but now he has a abdomin injury

I know it was talked about a couple of years ago moving Williams to OLB, but I think that issue will be looked at again this offseason, draft another inside linebacker and get another safety either Chavios and or another one in the draft, I think if Beriaults knee is better, he’ll be our strong safety next year.

Roy Williams is so overated

by sharkz on Dec 24, 2005 12:33 PM CST reply actions
the offense has had two good plays…a long pass to TG and a very nice run by JJ (cutting w/o a problem)…other than that, the game has been the same as last week….we need the yteam to focus a bit more and we might have a chance
by ManTab on Dec 24, 2005 12:34 PM CST reply actions

by sharkz on Dec 24, 2005 12:51 PM CST reply actions
As hard as I’ve been on the O-Line lately…can’t give all teh credit to Julius – that O-Line has been BLOCKING for him today – against the #4 rush defense in the league no less!
by Loozeeana_Cowboy on Dec 24, 2005 12:53 PM CST reply actions
C+…still we had a fumble, a sack on our QB and an INT
by ManTab on Dec 24, 2005 12:54 PM CST reply actions
and i saw tt fumbled ughh hey 2 to’s and we are tied thats not bad
by mike on Dec 24, 2005 12:56 PM CST reply actions
Mike – yup – T.T. fumbled on a kickoff/punt return (don’t remember which) – Carolina turned around on the very next play and scored a TD…Then Drew threw the Int.
by Loozeeana_Cowboy on Dec 24, 2005 12:57 PM CST reply actions
d.ware has a sack as well thats good to see, is the ends containing the runs to the outside???
by mike on Dec 24, 2005 12:57 PM CST reply actions
we need a stop here…i have a bad feeling about this Carolina drive
by ManTab on Dec 24, 2005 12:57 PM CST reply actions
yup the Int. was on Bledsoe all the way – he had Keyshawn wide open…tried to go to Glenn – Glenn was actually open too – near the left side and breaking towards the middle of the field – pass was high and behind him to the outside
Carolina is moving the ball down the field now : ( – they’re at the boys 35 yard line – couple of big passing plays
by Loozeeana_Cowboy on Dec 24, 2005 12:59 PM CST reply actions
I think the INT was on Glenn slowing down and seemed to change the route
by Derrick on Dec 24, 2005 12:59 PM CST reply actions
Yes Mike,he just plain overthrew Glenn while Keyshawn was wide open on the other side…

rivera hasnt been at pro bowl caliber but hes been solid, more then likely still hurting from back injury
by mike on Dec 24, 2005 1:05 PM CST reply actions
Bledsoe passed Dan Fouts for seventh place on the all time for passing yards
by Derrick on Dec 24, 2005 1:07 PM CST reply actions
Mike, Rivera has only one thing being consistent this year….penalties
by ManTab on Dec 24, 2005 1:08 PM CST reply actions
Damn! Bledsoe looked pretty mobile on that play…..
by sharkz on Dec 24, 2005 1:10 PM CST reply actions
They were just saying on Dallas radio that Bledsoe passed Dan Fouts for all-time passing yardage.
by bushpilot on Dec 24, 2005 1:10 PM CST reply actions
yeah, I think he needed 34 yards going into the game to do so
by Derrick on Dec 24, 2005 1:11 PM CST reply actions
-6 yds nice, i guess not every drive is good, at least we have the field position if the defense can hold them
by mike on Dec 24, 2005 1:12 PM CST reply actions
almost had them to 4th but we let that one get away
by jokerz on Dec 24, 2005 1:16 PM CST reply actions
Glenn is having some bad luck today, I swear he had that RB.
by lou c on Dec 24, 2005 1:16 PM CST reply actions
parcells should have a moment of prayer with cundiff
by linus on Dec 24, 2005 1:27 PM CST reply actions
we need to score TD’s not FG…Carolina already knows how to beat us…keep going to Aaron Glenn
by ManTab on Dec 24, 2005 1:27 PM CST reply actions
Maybe Keyshawn has some words of encouragement for Cundiff
by Sean on Dec 24, 2005 1:28 PM CST reply actions
That extra 12 seconds would have came in helpful wouldnt have had cundiff kickin a line drive.
by jokerz on Dec 24, 2005 1:29 PM CST reply actions

Henry should kiss your a$$. He should be playing today and letting Glenn play the nickel where he is best suited.
by lou c on Dec 24, 2005 1:29 PM CST reply actions

we are ok guys this will keep us hungry and desperate
by linus on Dec 24, 2005 1:31 PM CST reply actions
if it comes to an overtime and we get the ball first let me go in and kick a FG to win lol
by jokerz on Dec 24, 2005 1:32 PM CST reply actions
Where is Cortez. Cundiff is worse now than any time in his career. I hope we don’t need a FG in the 2nd half to win. No way with Cundiff. Get back to the run in the 2nd half. We’ll need two trunovers in the 2nd half to win this game. The Cowboys need to out-luck the Panthers.
by mlf on Dec 24, 2005 1:35 PM CST reply actions
I have no idea how the hell we’re only loosing by 3. Honestly, our team just sucks. Our deffense is horrible, ware has played well (finally) and is our only hope in that D today….The offense has played well except for Bledsoe and stupid Cundiff…i would cut him now, make him leave the stadium and just go for it on every 4th down inside of 30 yards
by ManTab on Dec 24, 2005 1:36 PM CST reply actions
