Around SBN: NFL Players Ready To Welcome Gay Teammate

A Word for Our Sponsors

We're free here at Cowboys' Blog and plan to always stay that way.

That said, we pay our bills through advertising. You've probably noticed a few new ads popping up the last month. I encourage you to click through and check them out. The ads at the bottom of the strip, Sirius Radio and Football Fanatics, provide us a bonus every time a visitor purchases their products through us. I can't speak for the other items, but I purchased Sirius over the holidays and love it. I haven't listened to terrestrial radio since I've subscribed. I've gotten every NFL game on Sundays, home and away broadcasts, and was in time to hear quite a few college football games. I can also get the NFL radio network, which keeps the football juices flowing.

If you're looking for NFL gear or NFL games, keep us in mind. You'll help the blog grow.

I’ll shill for you, too, Raf.

I got Sirius a year ago and it was love at first listen. Do NOT get XM if you love the NFL, because their offerings are paltry (XM is much better on baseball, if you’re into that). Nearly every NFL game, with scores onscreen (great in the car) and the NFL network is great info all by itself. It’s good for college ball, too, although it carries only the big games (for obvious reasons). Excellent NBA.

And now they have Howard Stern (not on XM), plus dozens of channels of great music. I listen to Alternative Nation (Alt Rock like Foo Fighters, Fall Out Boy, etc way before it hits most regular radio stations, so I get to act very cutting edge with no work at all).

No commercials. Great content. Good stuff.

And thanks again for your great content, Raf. You guys are the best.

Mike,

Thanks. If you do go Sirius, just do it though the link onsite. That’s how they trace your buy to us.
