Good God, and they call *us* obnoxious.
Maybe I shouldn't be posting this. It's mostly a response to that one Colts fan, you know the one, and just before I decided to create a new account to post this in the open thread, Grizz managed to shut him up, which was all I was really looking for anyway. Rant follows.
Beester, you've driven me to delurk.
JB over at the Eagles blog and Skin Patrol at the Redskins blog probably hate the Cowboys more than anybody in the last fifty years has ever loved the Colts, and yet they have shown themselves capable of being gracious in victory and defeat.
You, however -- the closest you can come to conceding defeat is to say that defenses are compelled to play up to the level of the Colts offense, which is so obviously superior to the mediocrity that is the rest of the league.
Scores like Indianapolis 17 - Buffalo 16 and Indy 14 - Tennessee (Tennessee, for heaven's sake!) 13 might give the more reasonable impression that the Colts have a problem with playing down to their opponents, but I digress.
It just so happens that the NFL already has a mechanism in place to measure which football team, on any given Sunday, plays better football. It's called a "football game."
It's not a perfect system of deciding which is the better team, of course. But it's better than the one that you favor, which appears to be "repeating yourself a lot."
Of course, you can't accept that playing football games is a valid way to determine the better football team. After all, if you did, you'd also have to accept that the Super Bowl is a valid way to determine the best team in the NFL. And that couldn't possibly be, could it?
I've always liked the Colts, and I'd been hoping that they get their shot at a title, but just for you, beester, I hope that the only time I see Peyton Manning on my TV this February, he'll be bursting out of a football in a fake mustache and yelling, "Cut that meat!"

if you think that's bad
I'm not surprised by BBS's threat
I recall him coming over here to talk smack way back at the beginning of this season. For what reason, I have no idea. But nobody threatened to delete his posts. But don't go diasagreeing with him or some of his bloggers, or you'll get deleted. I won't be reading their excuse laden posts ever again, let alone commenting.

just like you can't ban the Snowman...
like I told them
Coly fans are truly pathetic sore losers
If they don't want to acknowledge how well Romo played and that he is a top qb in this league, then they can't accept reality, really sad.
Yeah, and BigBlue called us arrogant, they have to be the most arrogant fans I've ever heard. I'm so going to love to see them fall on their faces again in the playoffs, that will be sweet.
Attention Cowboys fans
Your team won. Congratulations. I wish your team well. It was a disappointing game for both teams because it was so sloppy.
In reference to Peyton Manning, on the first interception the TE fell down. On the second one Harrison was contacted.
Cowboys clearly played the better game, but you can't say Romo outperformed Manning because the interceptions were not his fault.
I will not bash Romo. He didn't play spectacular, but it was good enough to win. That is all that matters. So good luck on the rest of your season.
you're wrong Playoff Pride
Second INT, that was just a very poor throw by Manning throwing to Harrison when he was covered like a blanket by Glenn. Poor decision, Manning's fault.
Romo clearly, without any doubt whatsoever out played Manning. It was obvious to anyone watching the game who wasn't a Colt homer.
really disappointing behavior
Cowboys won,Colts lost, Cowboys are the better team. End of story.
