Atlanta game blocked by NFL Network?

TV and print ads for the Dish NFL Network feature Drew Bledsoe and the away game with the Atlanta Falcons. I live in the Austin (TX) area, and I get Time-Warner cable. Why can't I watch the Cowboys play an away game? This cannot happen!!

There is actually big controversey
surrounding that issue. I think its unfair to fans like you, so hopefully something can be done soon about it.

As the article states,
satellite TV is the answer. Cable companies have the advantage if you get your broadband from them but otherwise DISH and Direct TV provide far better standard coverage of sports. Only Direct has the NFL premium games (all games every week). Hope it works out for you.

Screw the NFL network
The reason it's not available on most cable systems is they want an incredibly unreasonable amount of money.

Honestly, now many viewers do they think they are going to get?

They want premium $$$ from the cable outlets for inferior product. A handfull of live games, re-runs each week, and NFL films crap we used to get on ESPN2.

The Cable outlets would have to charge a premium to it's subscribers and NOBODY is going to pay extra to get this "service". The few cable providers who are picking it up are losing money hand over fist to do so hoping for the best.

Just go to a sports bar...
Make sure to drink a toast to NFL network with each beer.

NFL channel
I think if I give you four twenty dollar bills a month you could at least give me the NFL network. How much longer till it's all pay per view?
