Tristan's Attempt to Predict the Future

I've decided, with four games left, that I am going to try to pick the playoff teams for this year. Not only am I going to fail miserably in doing this, but I've chosen to also pick the winners of all the games in the playoffs. Let's see how good I am (if I get more than 1 or 2 items correct, with the exception of division winners, then I will be thoroughly surprised).

AFC

East: New England (Seed # 3)
North: Baltimore (Seed # 4)
South:Indianapolis (Seed #2)
West: San Diego (Seed #1)
Wildcard Seed #5: Cincinnati
Wildcard Seed #6: N.Y. Jets

NFC
East: Dallas (Seed #3)
North: Chicago (Seed #1)
South: New Orleans (Seed #4)
West: Seattle (Seed #2)
Wildcard Seed #5: Atlanta
Wildcard Seed #6: Philidelphia

Wildcard Weekend
AFC
NY Jets @ New England = New England DESTROYS the Jets
Cincinnati @ Baltimore = Cincinatti squeeks it out

NFC
Philidelphia @ Dallas = Iggles play tough but ultimately lose to Romo-mentum
Atlanta @ New Orleans = The feel-good Saints crash and burn and Atlanta moves on

Divisonal Games
AFC
New England @ San Diego = San Diego keeps rolling
Cincinatti @ Indianapolis = Indy continues their bout of Choke-itis and Cinci moves on

NFC
Dallas @ Chicago = Chicago says hello to a good team and goodbye to the playoffs
Atlanta @ Seattle = Seattle struggles but squeeks it out

AFC Championship
Cincinatti @ San Diego = Cinci in a nail-bitter

NFC Championship
Dallas @ Seattle = There will be no repeat of the game last year. Bledsoe is gone and Romo-mentum will roll us into the Superbowl

DALLAS VS CINCINATTI = Umm, does six superbowl rings mean anything to you?

So there you have it. 95 percent of this probably will not happen, but I was bored.

I was with you until the SD/Cincy game. No way Cincy wins that game, as its the Cowboys and Chargers in SB XLI.

Although I see the Giants and Pathers as the NFC WC's and Cincy and Denver as the AFC WC's.

The Giants are making the playoffs( 5th seed)

Thats a team cowboy fans better worry about.

Philly wont make the playoffs, three road games in a row in the division, they're done.

Cincy's a team thats getting hot in the AFC but SD is the best overall team in the league that will be entering the playoffs

I just have a feeling

that the Giants are going to continue to struggle and choke. But, like I said, I'm pretty sure I'll be wrong about most things. :)

My prediction for the Boys

My Guess, Wild card game, Giants @ Dallas III. If we lose next week in Atlanta, it could be Dallas @ Giants III

either way, if we play the giants in the playoffs, I think the Cowboys lose, season over.

depends which team shows up

Giants certainly aren't more talented, so it comes down to whoever plays better. First time, we stunk, second time, they played great, we played okay and still won. We'll see.
