Texas Stadium - Irving, TX

The last game of the regular season, kind of bittersweet. At least we have another game coming up, many teams are heading home. We need this game to get back on track. A big win provides some confidence heading to the tournament. So in that spirit, I'm calling for a Cowboys win in a blowout.
My prediction: Cowboys 38 - Lions 13
Weather Forecast
51 degrees
Partly Cloudy
Humidity 50%
Winds 17 mph

Last week I was mad
We just look awful. Although, it is true we are holding them to FG's. But a better team is up 14-0 right now and we all know it.
Yuck

by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Dec 31, 2006 2:15 PM CST up reply actions
Well
In a game like this, we gotta play mistake free.
Doesn't help that our D couldn't stop a pop-warner team right now.

Is it too early to suggest Romo sucks?
yeah
by Longhorn @ Blogging The Boys on Dec 31, 2006 2:15 PM CST up reply actions
Romo is like that Sandler look-alike QB in Buffalo
If Pro-Bowl selections had been after
three of the last four games on the schedule
Don't you love hearing Brian Baldinger and
why are we not running the ball?

Parcells is playing 'possum
He also doesn't want to face Seattle first.
Don't worry, the plan is working BRILLIANTLY.

the offense looks pretty good
So what you are saying
I think we can all agree that somebody needs to get fired......

by musicalnuke on Dec 31, 2006 2:40 PM CST reply actions
Holy cow, a QB sneak...finally!
It's vaudeville out there...jeez Romo
Wow.
That was in one second losing the game to in the next second a first down and another chance.
OK, that'll do
Somestimes it's better to be lucky than good.
Helloooo!!! It should be DAL 80 to DET 3!!!!
you guys still think Romo sucks

by Lobo on Dec 31, 2006 3:20 PM CST up reply actions
Dumb play
Actually the offense put up 24
Anyway, if the D could forces a few more punts, it would have been a different game.

by Dale in Atlanta on Dec 31, 2006 3:30 PM CST reply actions
USE THE NEW OPEN THREAD
I wonder if Jones ego will allow him
The Silver Lining is...
He'll bolt like Clinton after an Intern on her knees, once the Cowboys get killed next week...
He likes to through his players, and assistant coaches under the bus when they lose, and he won't want to take any credit for this; so Hopefully next week is the last we ever have to see of the ass...
Then, under someone knew, we can get a real Offensive Coordinator; shore up the OL by getting rid of Rivera and Adams, move Anthony Henry to FS, and fine at least ONE other pass rusher for the Defense...
But again, HOPEFULLY, this is the LAST time we have to see "Mr. I'm so much smarter than everyone and so superior to all you peons...and I can prove by having all my teams collapse in December EVERY YEAR..."
