Cowboys sign Bradie James to 5-year extension

This is fantastic news; the Cowboys are locking down players who are going to be big-time players. First Jason Witten, then Roy Williams and now Bradie James.

The Cowboys have locked up another young, building-block type player by agreeing Tuesday on a five-year extension worth $20 million with linebacker Bradie James.
James, who was scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent following the season, will receive an $8 million signing bonus.

Great job Jerry and Stephen Jones.

Excellent!
This sets a great tone in the locker room as well.  It says we take care of our guys.

good stuff...
do we have any money left to go shopping after the season is over?

we won't need to go shopping...
in free agency anymore if we can lock up our own stud players to long term deals. Our team is at the point where we really don't have many holes. I say if we spend any kind of money next season, it should be on a stud guard or tackle, or maybe center if we don't re-sign Gurode.
