Briefly: The Cowboys worked out cornerback Joey Thomas, a third-round pick by Green Bay in 2004, and kicker Kurt Smith, a sixth-round pick by San Diego. Smith is seen as a kickoff specialist. Former Arkansas defensive end Jeb Huckeba underwent a physical Tuesday. He worked out for the Cowboys last month.

I wouldn't be surprised
to see kurt Smith to our roster if he can do replicate what he did in Virginia, the midget( Gramatica) cant get the ball deep enough for Bill's liking on kickoffs, so it might be another year of two kickers on the roster again, wasting another roster spot on game day.
actually Deke
Parcells is on record as saying he was happy with Gramatica's ko's as he was consistenly kicking them to about the 5 or deeper most of the time.
