Okay, I don't know how to get this to work, but is there any way to start a "Just Say No to Norv" Petition going?  

If Jason Garret is that good, he doesn't need to be watched over by an HC/Offensive Genius.  If he's not that good, then he shouldn't have been given the whole OC title.  There are levels between OC and QB coach.  

I agree whole-heartedly with the idea we need someone who can improve the defense.  I just don't know who you can find to do this who isn't already a DC (meaning he would have to be the HC).

Finally, I had hoped that having Parcells in here would mean that his successor would come from the Parcells/Belicheck tree which had at least 5 or 6 HC's in the league last year as opposed to trying to go back to the Jimmy days, in which not only were no great successors produced, but where Jimmy went on to be unsuccessful at another job.  It just seemed like this was the perfect chance to hire a progressive minded coach who could put the Jerry Jones running the show years behind us.  People like Brian Schottenheimer and Norm Chow come to mind..
