Terrell Owens' message about Randy Moss for the media

Dear Reporters,

Due to the magnitude of this week's game and the high volume of questions for the Original 81 about the other 81, I will be taking all questions immediately following Sunday's game.

Sincerely,
Terrell Owens #81

Owens and Moss

Maybe I'm imagining this, but haven't Moss and Owens played against each other while Owens was with the 49ers and Moss with the Vikes?  IIRC the Vikings purposefully fed Moss and blanketed Owens to make Owens jealous and blow up on the sideline.  Of course it worked.

Could something similar happen this week if Owens doesn't get the ball and Moss does?  He didn't have a big day when he was mic'd and he didn't have a big day on Monday Night.  What happens if he doesn't have a big day against the Pats?  Could the lack of positive plays on the big stage force him to finally boil over?

Lots of questions and we won't know the answers until Sunday.  Hopefully Owens is a changed man and won't take the bait no matter what.

These are valid questions...

and I'd be a whole lotta worried if it were not for one thing... we won that game Monday Night, and at 5-0, a little controversy on the sidelines is not going to derail this freight train.

TO has been a choir boy this year.  He gets a hall-pass of one or two explosions in my book... so long as it's limited in size and duration.

But again, at 5-0, with Terry Glenn and Tank and Henry all due back soon (well, maybe that's optimistic for TG)... things are looking bright in big D, and a little TO sideline shenanigans ain't gonna change the tone.

Like many other players, TO has bought into Wade's mantra that the players need to be the leaders.  That means that guys like Witten, Romo, Newman, Canty, James, etc. are there to help keep TO in check...

I'm really not that worried.

If owens wants a big day

he needs to go out there and get it.  Elite recivers make plays no matter what.  How many years did teams gameplan against Irvin and how many years did he torch them.  He simply had to have the ball and he went and got it.  IF TO sucks this week it is all on TO and him bitching about it won't change that fact.
