Romo's Dad has Cancer

Tony Romo's dad has prostate cancer.  Here is the link:

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/s...

In it, they say that Romo and his dad are pretty close and he has known about it since after the Bears game.  Also, that they expect a full recovery from Ramiro Romo due to early detection and his excellent health.  The surgery is planned for later this month.

It sounds like it could be much worse, but cancer is always such a scary thing.

Cancer is indeed a scary thing, but I know, from close at hand, what early detection and the otherwise overall health of the patient, can mean.

If I may speak for everyone on this blog,

"Mr. Romo, we wish you well and look forward to seeing your face on TV in the stands watching your son at the superbowl."

Go Cowboys!

definitely explains why Tony wasn't himself

Monday night, hopefully his dad's recovery goes well and they caught it in time.
