Can this tank guy play corner?

I think that having Tank Johnson is going to be a nice addition to our D-line because it will provide some rest for Ratliff and give us a decent rotation at that position. But man, I really wish we could have found a troublemaker that can run with a wide receiver. Our run defense has been a pretty darn good unit so far this year, and while it never hurts to add depth to the D-line, our secondary could use some depth as well.

Star-divide

Unfortunately, there aren't any cornerbacks out there that are obsessed with firearms and enjoy chatting with police. Wait a second... hey... we should force the Titans (through some magical power) to cut Pacman Jones... or just trade for him. He might be suspended for the regular season, but maybe Goodell will cut the suspension short. Because in fact the time that we will need him the most is when we play NE or IND in the Superbowl!

Here is to bringing back the gang-banging cowboys of the 90s!

you can have Pacman, Hall and all the other

thugs, I don't care if they can cover Moss like a blanket. Their off the field issues aren't worth it.

I know you go to UT

and you love your team full of dreadlocked pot smoking thugs who break into houses, sell drugs, and threaten witnesses in Austin. I for one think we could probably find a cover corner that doesn't have to check in with his parole officer before leaving for away games.

All kidding aside we definitely need someone to step up and play. We missed the trade deadline so we can't go that route. I think Jerry dropped the ball here. We should have used one of our higher picks to beef up the secondary. But I'm not a rich old bastard so what do I know.

The "dreadlocked" comment was unnecessary

Leonard Little killed a guy driving while intoxicated -- no dreadlocks.

Isaiah Stanback is an intelligent football player and a project with lots of potential -- has dreadlocks.

I don't think whether a guy has dreadlocks or not has anything to do with him being a thug.

Former Nebraska standout D-lineman Christian Peter came across as the "All American Farm Boy" as an underclassman, and he turned out to be a woman-beating jerk... equivalent to what amounts to a thug (even though he doesn't have dreadlocks).

Time to lose the exterior profiling...

i apologize

my comments were not ment to offend anyone with or without dreadlocks. I guess I through that in there because both Tank and Packman had them thus they were dreadlocked thugs. Pacman cut his hair, now he is a non dreadlocked thug. My apologies if I offended anyone.

On the other side

We have MB3, Marion the Barbarian, The Predator, who wears his dreadlocks proudly and is as humble as they come. I love the dreads under the helmet, it makes those guys look like warriors.

I can't understand why more defenders

don't try to bring down MB3 by the 'locks, seems easier than actually tackling him head on, and I don't think its illegal.

I appreciate your sarcasm

but Tank does not belong in that grouping in my opinion. He was not actually threatening anyone or een displaying a weapon in the car. He has legal weapons at home except that he was on probation (a big error in judgment). But Pacman was involved in a shooting and violence. I doubt that Jerry Jones would have any interest. As for Terrell Owens (the only other iffy signing in recent years (I believe that Quincy's drug use came after we drafted him)) the man has not ever been involved with a crime. Of all places, Texas should be gun tolerant (remember the Alamo?) and gang banging would not be a charge against the Cowboys players that I remember. When was that?

it would be ironic

If after all the worrying we will do about our suspect secondary, we made it to the Super Bowl and faced..........San Diego.

I'm just glad that no team left on our schedule has the ability to shred us like New England did. While McNabb, Favre, Kitna, and even E. Manning will give us problems, none of those guys are as accurate as Brady nor do they have the weapons he has.

NE

I just hope NE shreds the rest of the NFC east.  That will make it not matter much that we lost to them.

Go Cowboys!
