First Time Diary from a PA Boys Fan

Hey all you Cowboy fans. I don't know how many of you are going to read this, but I figured I'd give it a shot. I'm a Penn State junior out here in Happy Valley and also a life-long Dallas Cowboys fan. I live in an apartment with 3 Eagles fans..so you have to imagine things get quite interesting during the NFL calendar.
I just wanted to start writing a diary because I'm a Journalism major out here and I thought this could be quite interesting to try out. I'm gonna try to post something after each game..just a reflection of my thoughts from the previous week and a look ahead to the next game. Hopefully they'll be organized thoughts..but sometimes they might just be random things that pop into my head...either way I hope you enjoy reading it.
Anyways, hopefully I'll try to get a diary to look into the late practice on Monday night for the Patriots game. Yeah, I just did that. Thats what you can expect from my diary..lots of jumping the gun and jinxing the team. Ha, I'm just kidding. It's late but I'll be back sometime later this week with another one of thse.

Wow

Sharing an apartment with 3 Iggles fans...sounds like the 12th circle of hell. Watch your back, and don't eat or drink anything they "prepare" for you.

Twelfth Circle

That's a good one.  Dante rules.

welcome aboard

good to have another Pennsylvanian to chat with. I live only an hour and half away from State College, although I'm a Pitt alum, so I guess we're enemies in that regard. ;)

Long time lurker, first time poster

welcome!

Condolences on your roomies. Just another reason for the Cowboys to sweep the series with Philly this season.

Welcome, DorneyDave

May I ask what part of the country are you originally from?  The reason I ask is twofold.  One, I know lots of people who were originally from Western PA (Pittsburgh and Erie), and a few of them also ended up as Cowboys fans.  Second, one of the reasons cited by Eagles fans as to why they hate Dallas so vehemently is because there are so many of them in the Philly/Bucks County/Trenton metro area, and they look at Cowboys fans there as traitors undermining their home team.

If you're originally from Eastern PA, I'd be interested in your thoughts on the latter theory.

Again, welcome aboard.

I'm from Allentown, Pa..Eastern PA. It's about an hour away from Philly.  (UGH!) And yes, there are numerous Dallas fans in my area..my family is Dallas through and through.

Welcome to BTB!!!

I have no ties to PA, but I feel bad living with Beagles fans. That truly is the 12th circle in my opinion too. Can't wait to read more of your stuff.

Been a Cowboy fan from 4 yrs old.
