Gary Horton makes the claim in this article that the Cowboys are not going to blitz young QB Trent Edwards. They are instead going to be sitting back, hoping to force Edwards into bad throws because of tight windows. This seems counterintuitive, and he says that, but he didn't seem to explain why they would want to do this.
It seems to me that they should blitz Edwards frequently. In his first start last week against the Jets, he had close to an 80% completion percentage. I didn't get to watch the game, so I don't know how many were dink and dunk passes, but it seems to me like the guy is pretty accurate. From this high level view, pressuring him looks like the way to go in order to force this guy into bad throws.
