we're playing a pop warner defense
with the amount of starters out on the bills defense, he should shine
He likes the Bills and the 49er's
He just picked the Bills to be different from all the rest, same as he does on Sunday, just to be different, he's not a Hater..
Yeah, berman's prediction
was obviously a joke. Buffalo couldn't score 52 on us if we played them three times
I actually feel bad for Bills fans
The ESPN pre-game show was actually a Cowboys show disguised as national tv. It's like they forgot for an hour that the Bills were involved. This is why other fans hate us. Networks shove the Cowboys down their throats. Not that I mind, but I'm sure the Bills fans hate it.
Derek
Here we go...
Yikes!
Heard Roy coming
I'd drop it too.
by Poke @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 7:45 PM CDT reply actions
yay
i forgot that the bills aren't good
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 7:45 PM CDT reply actions
That was a great gutsy call
That's just a slap in the face
To Wade Phillips. Letting him feel the shame of the Music City Miracle again.
Nice tackle Roy
Great defense on that screen
Nice tackle
KB looking good this year.

Good punt
Now let's get us a 98 yd drive.
by Poke @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 7:48 PM CDT reply actions
F@#&!
Terrible luck for D. Great bounce for BUF.
well
the bills seem pretty fired up
lets see what the cowboys bring
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 7:48 PM CDT reply actions
so
everybody except JJ to do something here right?
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 7:50 PM CDT reply actions
what the hell was that!
Stunned
Maybe
Romo just wants to make the eventual win all the more sweeter?
Horrible throw.
Hope Romo shines for us tonight
i really don't get it
didn't look like anybody was in the vicinity
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 7:53 PM CDT reply actions
Romo always starts out a bit jumpy
and his early passes are always high. He just overthrow whoever that was open in the middle.
That's why I like Jaws
He always breaks down the film the best. Now I see why Romo made that terrible throw.
Nice run JJ
Go JJ ...
That's my JJ ...
who was that one on?
ok
romo to witten is not working
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 7:58 PM CDT reply actions
Romo, you're killing me here
I say we run tonight
Wow
nobody saw this coming, but hey, it had to happen sometime. Lets hope everybody can keep their cool and not let this screw up the whole game.
What is Romo thinking
that was just a horrible decision on his part
by Burt D @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 8:00 PM CDT reply actions
I just had this feeling
This game worried me so much.
Now lets see what happens when facing adversity in the face of a hostile environment.
Here's hoping
Here's hoping your prediction numbers are on, Grizz.
by bhesters on Oct 8, 2007 8:02 PM CDT reply actions
we know one thing
the patriots are taking some notes
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 8:02 PM CDT reply actions
taking notes on what
Romo is just playing like crap
by Burt D @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 8:03 PM CDT up reply actions
Tonight we see
how Romo handles this sort of adversity. It can be a positive thing, I'm not panicking just yet.
Great stop!!!!
D Momemtum
Can it translate to ROMOmentum?
uh oh
hmm
romo is lookign really bad right now
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 8:06 PM CDT reply actions
He's throwing high again early
But he needs to stop taking
the first quarter to warm up. THe pats would be up 21 -0 if we played like this next week.
McBriar
MVP!!!!!!!
DAMN! Thank you, McBriar!
the next series on offense
we need to go four wides, spread out the defense and throw it to set up the running game, they're loading up the box
yeah
we are protecting well, we need to stop running first and second down
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 8:11 PM CDT up reply actions
Good point Deke
but they also saw our slow starts on game film and are throwing everything they can at us to build a lead.
DL
wtg guys, they are playing studly
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 8:11 PM CDT reply actions
Reeves, crap
well, I'll say he's learning
well
if we tie this up 7-7 they have lost a tonj of momentum and will be in trouble
Spencer
has been playing well.
by sprite @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 8:14 PM CDT reply actions
Get Romo out of the pocket, smart
Garrett can sense
garrett can sense when romo is out of rhythm....
you think???
great analyssis
Terry
They are playing scrubs on their secondary and our line is giving Romo plenty of time he has no excuses
by Burt D @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 8:18 PM CDT up reply actions
Another lousy first quarter
I really hoped we would come out and score a TD in the first quarter for once.
These slow starts are killing us. Eventually, it is going to cost us a game.
damn I am jinxing us guys
I am not wearing my boys shirt, pardon me while I go put it on.
damn
they are jumping these routes pretty well
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 8:21 PM CDT reply actions
Great catch T.O.
bad call
he didn't spike it.
by mikedallas23 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 8:23 PM CDT up reply actions
that's b.s.
that wasn't a spike. he threw the ball like everybody throws the ball. fucking bullshit
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 8:23 PM CDT reply actions
Take it easy on the language
What a catch by Witten
Sweet
I'd say that makes up for the blown route on the first INT.
by mikedallas23 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 8:25 PM CDT up reply actions
Sweet!
But the O-line needs to protect Romo more. I am getting nervous with all these hits he is taking.
"two guys on the same page...
all year long"
um, remember the 1st quarter jaws?
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 8:24 PM CDT reply actions
bam
there goes the momentum
they threw everything but the kitchen sink at us
we made tons of mistakes
its tied
they aint got nothing
all this happened after I put on my boys shirt
I wouldn't
but i might get fired if I don't, thats actually why I still had my work shirt on,forgot when I got home.
Argh!
I just yelled at my hot neighbor for bothering me during the game. I probably would have been a lot nicer if she'd have knocked after the TD.
Oh well. Worth it. Keep it going, Dallas!
Finally Romo is finding his groove
Romo needs to fix those slow starts or at least play conservatively in the first quarter
by Burt D @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 8:25 PM CDT reply actions
these slow starts
are just as much on garret as they are romo.
and i'm starting ot think its not a big deal. he needs to feel out the defense and see what works and then execute.
he can't just start out play action pass from the get go
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 8:28 PM CDT up reply actions
I told you they'll settle down
that Bills defense was jacked, first Monday night game in 13 years, we walked into a hornets nest.
If we win big
we can say it was a good learning process but I'll feel a lot more comfortable after three more tds
fake punt?
you run up the score on these guys
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 8:29 PM CDT reply actions
Oh these guys are TOTAL hot dogs..
I can't wait to run up the score.
by Pete on Oct 8, 2007 8:32 PM CDT reply actions
Trent Edwards
Playing really well tonight.
But I dont think it will be good enough.
Way to be strong against the run Spencer
by mikedallas23 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 8:33 PM CDT reply actions
Jeez guys...
why not just carry the guy over the line?
by Pete on Oct 8, 2007 8:35 PM CDT reply actions
torre is a gonner
man
that was a bad Defensive play call
no blitz, playing off of lynch
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 8:38 PM CDT reply actions
Newman is pumped
Newman!
He's looking pretty healthy.
by mikedallas23 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 8:40 PM CDT reply actions
Watch out for the fake
The Bills are feeling strong tonight
Time for a Stanback return
by Burt D @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 8:42 PM CDT reply actions
well
even the sun shines on a dogs rear some days
at least we have
at least we have taken the crowd out of the game
Michelle Tafoya
Adds so much to the game. I almost forgot about the 10 commandments.
Think she has a fake low voice?
Holy Crap
Is it halftime yet?
by mikedallas23 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 8:50 PM CDT reply actions
we have had t
we have had good tony romo for 4 games
now its time for bad tony romo for a game... lets hope its just one game
jerry
jerry is probably saving serious money today
brady and peyton dont have 4 int halfs...
This is completely unacceptable
Against a depleted secondary he shouldn't be having this much trouble
by Burt D @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 8:53 PM CDT reply actions
I hope this game ...
does not turn out like the New Orleans game last year.
It showed the rest of the league how to play us.
get real
i'm not jumping off any bandwagon i'm just not ready to put romo in the hall of fame because he keeps beating up up crap teams & yes i consider the bears a crap team for right now.
too many people going goo goo ga ga for no reason. i just want to see him beat a quality team like the pats.
sorry you guys can't take a little ribbing, because obviously i don't want tony romo out, i'm not that stupid.
hope this serves as a wake up call.
by cjr126 on Oct 8, 2007 9:13 PM CDT up reply actions
thank god we didn't give him his money
this is why you don't compare him to brady, manning & favre.
for god sakes he can't beat the friggin bills.
by cjr126 on Oct 8, 2007 8:55 PM CDT reply actions
Lets give him a half
This will show what kind of player he really is.
Theory
My friend went to vegas this weekend and picked up a stripper (fromm the club saphire) took her home and had sex w/her.
She was wearing a tiny tony romo jersey w/panties and eye black.
perhaps sticking his @#$% in tony romo was not the best thing for us from a karma perspective??
doing a girl with eye black
not sure how i would feel about that
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 8:59 PM CDT up reply actions
ouch
got to feel bad for that poor girl after all the guys losing money on this game are finished with her in that costume.
by bhesters on Oct 8, 2007 9:00 PM CDT up reply actions
Well, shit.
I turned it off for a minute and they scored? :P
by Pete on Oct 8, 2007 9:06 PM CDT up reply actions
We start off with the ball in the second half
We need to spread them out and romo needs to get the ball out quicker, he's holding on to it too long tonight
Nice Folk!
Does anyone think Romo is telegraphing his throws
It seems like he's locking onto receivers tonight.
Agreed
by sprite @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 9:06 PM CDT up reply actions
we need to slow down
run the ball
and give the defense a rest
well
here we go.
what does a QB whose thrown 4 picks have in him?
btw, if jerry plays ultra stupid gm and puts in brad johnson, I'm going to be upset.
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 9:04 PM CDT reply actions
I'm more curious
...to see how our new coach revives morale.
by bhesters on Oct 8, 2007 9:06 PM CDT up reply actions
even with 4 picks, we're only 7 down..2nd half!!!
by BoyzFanCA on Oct 8, 2007 9:09 PM CDT reply actions
Whew! Thank goodness!
For 4 TO's, we're in as good of shape as good be hoped for.
Time for that 'second half offense' of the Cowboys to kick-in.
by paulfv on Oct 8, 2007 9:18 PM CDT up reply actions
At least
Tony has 3 TD passes in the first half. Hopefully in the second half more will come to the guys with stars on their helmet!
73 yard FG?
That's what NFL.com is saying. Was it that long?
by paulfv on Oct 8, 2007 9:12 PM CDT reply actions
i think it was 47
Thanks, Dave
Yahoo and NFL.com both had it as 73. Somebody can't type.
:)
by paulfv on Oct 8, 2007 9:16 PM CDT up reply actions
Folk's not THAT good
still good though. 47.
by no1cowboysfan on Oct 8, 2007 9:14 PM CDT up reply actions
I am excited to see how Romo handles this.
We'll see how he has progressed from last year. Give us a steady dose of Barber behind a rested OL. Thats just what the doctor ordered for Romo's first half hangover.
4 INTs and only down 7 - I am still predicting a win.
The First Half was the Bad Side of Favre
in Tony that we just witnessed.
It's amazing how similar the two are.
Anyhoo, enough of this jibber jabber, let's go Cowboys!
Come out of the tunnel with a vengeance, like a bunch of crazed dawgs and pound the Bills and shut the crowd up!!!
Oh yeah, and win!!!!!!!
It good that Romo has a bad game against
the Bills rather than a good team like the pats. If he plays like this against them, we have no chance.
At least we have a shot in the second half.
We need a time-consuming ball control
type of drive with a few runs to Bigg's side. Eat a lil clock, get a lil time of possession, score a lil TD with our first series in the 2nd half.
That's what we need.
And our defense needs to start blitzing a lil more and wreaking a lil more havoc...
Feeling Better...
We should be losing like 24-7. Something tells me the second half will be different...they let us get off the mat. I think we'll win.
anythin
anything that keeps our dxefense on the sidelines and resting is good
JJ having a strong game
come on boys - pound it
Five quadrants?
Mike Tirico ...
Looks like he figured it out
by no1cowboysfan on Oct 8, 2007 9:29 PM CDT up reply actions
Hurd should have caught that TD pass...damn it...
by BoyzFanCA on Oct 8, 2007 9:32 PM CDT reply actions
Can the D keep holding them?
Our Defense has only given up 3 points. We really need them to keep that up. A turnover for our side sure would help right about now too.
USE THE NEW OPEN THREAD FOR FRESH CHAT

defense has rested
defense has been on the field 4 plays since 4:13 left in 2nd Q
maybe they are fresh
Maybe you just had the teams reversed
...on your prediction, Grizz
by bhesters on Oct 8, 2007 9:35 PM CDT reply actions
If we lose
everyone all this week will say Cowboys are overrated. I don't think I can watch espn this week if that happens.
