what a nice way to start a new thread
wow
well this is not the best way to keep the defense off the field
Bleh.
So ... ill ...
keith davis
is one person that important?
i'm starting to think so.

Got caught looking ahead?
There's plenty of time left to pull it out, even after that punt return TD. But you can't tell me that this whole team wasn't looking ahead to next week.
Early Grades:
Romo - Pathetic
O Line - Anemic
D Line - Sleeping
Special Teams - W.Phillips in Buffalo-esque
Turn it around Boys, that flight home is brutal enough.
We're leading with our chin
I still think that if Tony can pull it together we can win and be the better for it!
no kidding
How was that NOT a push out? That's the prime example of a push out.

everything going wrong
really needed a long drive

in the biggest way
I hope Romo shows up prior to the 4th quarter
So far there's a guy with a #9 jersey, but it's not a pro bowler.

RUNNING INTO THE KICKER
I'd love to know when they changed the rule
That's the 5th time McBriar has been run into this year, ZERO calls...
i think they actually did
they don't call it unless its blatant

no running game
as bad as romo has played our biggest weakness on this offense is the running game. if they could have established any kind of running game in the 1st half than romo wouldn't feel the need to constantly make plays. occasionally the running game needs to help him out.
lets face it the only time we run the ball well is when we have the game put away in the 4th quarter & then barber & jones get some running room when the defense is already beat to heck.
we never are able to come out and establish any kind of running game & then were forced to throw, throw & throw some more.
as much as i would love to grab a corner in the 1st round next year, there's no doubt we need to package our 2 1st round picks & get a stud running back.
by cjr126 on Oct 8, 2007 9:49 PM CDT reply actions
I've been saying the same thing all year
no push up the middle early in games and we are in third and long(over 6 yards) way too much.
problem is
i think romo has another INT in him
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 9:50 PM CDT reply actions
I did check...
And the League HAS officially renamed 'Running into the punter' to 'Running into any punter except those who were born in Australia and has initials that are alliterative.'
Red dog, Red dog!
Time to be a hero Romo.
defense
against the vaunted bills and trent edwards. i think the patriotts have someone better
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 9:54 PM CDT up reply actions
I wouldn't say they're improving.
They're well, but they're also playing a bad team with a rookie QB that hasn't challenged the secondary. They haven't forced any turnovers. Keeping Buffalo out of the endzone is expected .
romo
is he floating his passes a little?
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 9:54 PM CDT reply actions
not with this running attack

we need an int for a TD
by Burt D @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 10:04 PM CDT up reply actions
Plenty of time
We need a quick D series, though, to keep their D on the field. They're breathing hard.
Folk's kicks are true
Get us a turnover here defense.
COULD U JUST FEEL IT COMING?????
i'LL SHUT THE HELL UP AND HOPE FOR THE COME BACK

Hello Hatcher!
Has anyone noticed that Hatcher has
been getting a lot of playing time
by Burt D @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 10:08 PM CDT reply actions
So far
they have only scored three point on our D. Not too shabby. All the TD's were on stupid plays

Big Crick
the new checkdown receiver
Blame special teams too
Romo deserves most of the blame, but two return TDs in two weeks? Unacceptable.

monday night football
ive seen some crazy wacky endings for the cowboys on monday night, great ones!
another miracle monday is needed.
Roy
omg it never ends with this guy
by Burt D @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 10:16 PM CDT reply actions
One thing about Romo
when he wins, he usually wins big and plays great. When he loses, he plays awful and loses big.
There is rarely any middle ground with him.
Embarrasing loss in any case.....
Suffice it to say, the Pats aren't scared.
I don't think any Cowboys can complain about that
considering the massive chubby they're all sporting for Romo.
YYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Newman and Ware, woo hoo!
man
if newman was healthy he would have been gone. he's a beast though. even if he did fumble (which he didn;'t)
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 10:23 PM CDT reply actions
Too bad Newman's not 100%
He would have taken that to the house.
seriously though
that dick jaurons' fault. what the hell do you need to be fancy for. run the ball and hope for the best. he should take full credit for a loss

The worst quarterback play I have ever seen
What the hell was wrong with Tony Romo tonight. This was an utter embarassment.
by jmangell0830 on Oct 8, 2007 10:27 PM CDT reply actions
wow
romo must have bet on the bills
6 turnovers man
the little girl with the curl just saved Jerry MILLIONS
This is freaking crazy
He didn't even see the guy. What do you do if we get the ball back? Surely we will stick with Romo.
Jerry must be so happy ...
If he still wants to re-sign Romo, he just saved millions by waiting a week.
How much money did Jerry save tonight?
by Burt D @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 10:28 PM CDT reply actions
here's the deal
you have to get the ball to crayton, not witten. can't even look at witten

phone call
umm mr condon, its jerry jones on the phone
he would like you to tear up that offer....
These cameras keep shooting at TO
It's not his fault, but I wish he was on a nother team. They make him the distraction. They crave him.
Romo is THE worst Cowboys QB in history
I bite my tongue about this clown because I love the Boys but all that Favre B.S. has gone to his head and he will never be anything more than an overachieving 2nd string QB. A flash in the pan that dies out with time.
Well guess what - it's time. At least he didn't wait until the playoff push to show his true colors this year.
Jerry, rip up that check and get on the phone, that Browns#1 might help you salvage the season with a trade.
um
remember hutchinson, quincy carter, anthony wright?
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 10:33 PM CDT up reply actions
Yes I do.
I'd take either of them right now. Wright would take the sack instead of turnovers for points. Hutchinson would throw it way while screaming like a girl - again no turnovers for points. QC would run like a drugged up demon and go down with the ball.
Get over this guy now, Romo will do this crap all friggin year.
Well, I can't get any reception for some reason.
It is raining here, but not that hard. Although I guess I shouldn't care from what I am reading.
Romo threw another pick in the red zone? Is that right?
5 picks. he lost this game all by himself
Romo is completely demoralized
We're only down by ONE SCORE. He had better stop giving up.
after the game
wade should take away a few of romo's game balls
he can go all the way back to jr high
But he is also the reason they lose
I am not giving up on him, just saying when he chokes, he chokes BAD!!
Like a car wreck
I want to quit watching this game and go to bed, but it's like watching a car wreck.
was that pass interference?
he never turned around??
crappy pass on the fade but par for the course for romo tonight
holy crap
tony curtis!!!!
lets run a sideline route and let folk be the hero
nope
quick out to the sideline
then fg
if that fails then endzone on 2nd play
He dropped it
fasciunating point
they killed it before the the call
Excuse me... but going back to the 2 point...
That was CLEARLY interference.
yet nobody at all is talking about it.
... Folk from 64?
Here we go
Come on Folk!
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Un Folkin believable
So much for sleeping tonight
I am so pumped I don't think I'm going to be getting any sleep tonight.
Damn..
That was a draft pick well-spent!
Go Cowboys!

After all the years of suffering
with horrible kickers, Nick Folk, ice water in his veins, comes through.
Amazing. Just amazing.

Won't they wish they stuck around for the ending!! BAD ASS!!!!

Sorry for the namecalling Terry
It was either that or kick the cat.
I stand by what I said about Romo - pin your hopes on him but he will do this again and again.

I think I just had a heart attack.
by jmangell0830 on Oct 8, 2007 11:01 PM CDT reply actions
I don't care
if it is in the rules, that was a classless move.
And F You Buffalo. We will kick it twice.
by tarheel_highlander on Oct 8, 2007 11:01 PM CDT reply actions
It's within the rules
it needs to be changed somehow.
by jmangell0830 on Oct 8, 2007 11:03 PM CDT up reply actions
a PUSSY move
makes it feel that much better that we beat em TWICE
In folk we trust
OMG I think I just had a heartattack. Folk has balls of steel and is the MVP. Romo was possessed by the spirit of Rex Grossman and we still pull it out. Huge props to the D for saving our asses and now I am going to have a drink.
FIVE AND O Bitches!@!! Bring on the Patsys!
This makes me feel a *little* better
after watching the Yankees' season end.
OMG, my heart is still racing.
WOTTA GAME!!!
by Pete on Oct 8, 2007 11:03 PM CDT reply actions
Here is to all you Romo haters in this thread.
sure, he played like Shit. But he moved our team down the field when it mattered. He IS OUR QUARTERBACK!
UNFUKCING(SORRY LANGUAGE) BELIEVABLE!!
ROOKIE!!!!!!!!!!! HOLY CRAP !!!!!!!kjnweoif;we9p jweap;fkaw-9.i 0aeg
While I was pacing around my room, I kept
telling Romo that "Stats don't matter Romo, Wins Do!"
I think he listened!
holy $%&!
Craziest game I've seen since....?
While it would be easy to pile on Romo for throwing 5 picks, I won't. It happens to the best of QBs. To his credit, he didn't give up. He three 5 INTs, and WE STILL WON! But yeah, the defense bailed us out big time.
Oh, and that Folk guy helped a little, too j/k
We're 5-0! XD
by Nelson @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 11:07 PM CDT reply actions
Where's Dunkman! Folkin A!!!
the cool thing
is he did it folking twice
you don't know how much $#!t I was...
going to get at work tomorrow if we lost.....
long live Jerry the GM, who picked Folk and Cricket, who both played well today.....
i won't be able to sleep all night after that
i have to get up for work in 6 hours & i don't think i'll get more than 15 minutes after that heart attack.
thank god i got nick folk on my fantasy team & had him in tonight.

ESPN Crew
The ESPN announcers were such Bills homers. They're probably all crying now.
I don't
How many turnovers and we still won it?
Without the interceptions it may have been a blowout.
by tarheel_highlander on Oct 8, 2007 11:16 PM CDT up reply actions
can't disagree more
buffalo did absolutely nothing in trying to win this game.
we gave them 4 of those 5 int's
there offense only scored 3 pts
they choked twice in the redzone with 1 int & 1st & goal inside the 10 & settle for 3.
they scored 21 pts off of int's & 98yd kick return.
we tried to give them this game & they didn't take it, so we went & took it away.
by cjr126 on Oct 8, 2007 11:16 PM CDT up reply actions
for real
That's why you look past no one in the NFL, doesn't matter what their record may be. Any Given Sunday...or Monday, in this case.
by Nelson @ Blogging The Boys on Oct 8, 2007 11:19 PM CDT up reply actions
How often does this happen?
Folk just scored more points for me than Romo!
Folkin A!
need a rule change in football
enough with these coaches calling time out as the kickers lining up to kick a field goal.
by cjr126 on Oct 8, 2007 11:13 PM CDT reply actions
Yeah
but if he would have missed the 2nd one I would have been pissed with a capital P.

Who was that masked man?
By the way which big man hustled all the way down the field to recover T-New's "fumble"?
I wish they were showing the post game press
conference. I know its Torre's last post conference, but come on this was the craziest game ever!!!!
I got nothing left.
Wow. Wow. Wow.
That abysmal timeout rule has got to be changed.
What a win!
Wow. Wow.

question
did they say that folk had never kicked a fg over 52 yards (even in college) then he kicked 2 53 yarders in a row w/time expiring on grass outdoors on the road in front of a screaming crowd as time expired???
did you see the kicks
they barely went over. dead center but still barely cleared. that means he kicked it as hard as he could...twice.
