That was an incredible catch by Moss
by Dave Halprin on Nov 18, 2007 5:20 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Cmon defense
we need a stop
by TrueBlue24 on Nov 18, 2007 5:20 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
I didn't think Jason Campbell
could do this to our D
by Philosopher on Nov 18, 2007 5:21 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
I got a million dollar question
How do you stop Ware?
by Burt D on Nov 18, 2007 5:21 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
well
even on that catch, you see reeves with excellent coverage on a speedy moss
by ab03 on Nov 18, 2007 5:21 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Terrible call!
by TrueBlue24 on Nov 18, 2007 5:23 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
terrible
wade, he didn't violate his pledge!!!
by ab03 on Nov 18, 2007 5:23 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
nice job defense
not great series but holding them to three is good
by Deke on Nov 18, 2007 5:26 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
OK, credit for holding them to a FG
But quit letting them drive it.
by Dave Halprin on Nov 18, 2007 5:26 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
absolutely, great stop
by Terry on Nov 18, 2007 5:26 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
so far washingtons offense has outplayed ours!
But we need to dominate the 4th quarter!
C'mon Cowboys!
by TrueBlue24 on Nov 18, 2007 5:27 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
That is what is so surprising
and worrying.
We have to step it up a level right now. 5-8 minute drive culminating in a TD is what we need.
by Philosopher on Nov 18, 2007 5:28 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Ware is a beast on the end
if we could only get some pressure from the inside up the middle.
by Deke on Nov 18, 2007 5:28 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
question
is tank johnson playing? are any of our defensive tackles playing? haven't heard anybody mentioned
by ab03 on Nov 18, 2007 5:29 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
That was a good series by the D
Reeves had good coverage but Moss just had an absolutely incredible catch. Then a bogus call on Ware followed by good coverage and QB pressure.
by Brandon Worley on Nov 18, 2007 5:29 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
we need a drive and a score
by TrueBlue24 on Nov 18, 2007 5:30 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Nice slant to Hurd
great pick up on 3rd down
by Dave Halprin on Nov 18, 2007 5:32 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
great catch by hurd!
by TrueBlue24 on Nov 18, 2007 5:32 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
that's what I'm talking about
by scottmaui on Nov 18, 2007 5:33 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Just keep their D on the field please
oh, and get some points too. Preferably 7 of them.
by Philosopher on Nov 18, 2007 5:34 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
There it is...
now it's officially a game, Flo gets a false start
by Dave Halprin on Nov 18, 2007 5:34 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
OH BABY!
yes another TO TD
by scottmaui on Nov 18, 2007 5:34 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
TO...again!!!!
by TrueBlue24 on Nov 18, 2007 5:35 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Call the police
T.O. is murdering these guys.
by Dave Halprin on Nov 18, 2007 5:35 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
HaHa!
Good one Grizz!
by TrueBlue24 on Nov 18, 2007 5:36 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Wow. Just wow.

by Longhorn on Nov 18, 2007 5:35 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
that drive was all ROMO!!!
by Terry on Nov 18, 2007 5:36 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
and the offensive line
and the receivers.
by Dave Halprin on Nov 18, 2007 5:36 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Because Hurd Witten Crayton and Owens
had no part
by Burt D on Nov 18, 2007 5:36 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Not really
he needs the Oline to block the WRs to get open and catch the ball.
Duh.
by Longhorn on Nov 18, 2007 5:36 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Romo's pulling the trigger baby!
by Terry on Nov 18, 2007 5:38 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
and if he hadn't been smart
and threw the ball away when there was nothing there to live and have another play, then he wouldn't of hit Hurd, or witten or T.O for a TD.
Thats what is being smart with the football
by Deke on Nov 18, 2007 5:38 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
it look long enough
but we're finally exploiting the weakness in their secondary like everyone said...
by scottmaui on Nov 18, 2007 5:36 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
great Jordan impersonation by T.O.
by Terry on Nov 18, 2007 5:36 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
isn't that a penalty
are u allowed to use the goal post in a celebration?
by Burt D on Nov 18, 2007 5:37 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I Heart T.O.
he is also on my fantasy team.
I really, really, heart T.O.
by Philosopher on Nov 18, 2007 5:36 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
our explosive offense
just has a long fuse sometimes
by scottmaui on Nov 18, 2007 5:37 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
hey I predicted TO for the Game Ball!
by TrueBlue24 on Nov 18, 2007 5:37 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
If only...
our D would step up now. Seems like we can't be comfortable on ANY down against these guys. QB throws it wherever and however he pleases...
I wanna see Hamlin step in front of Moss and run it back - LET'S DO IT!!!!!!!!
by Pete on Nov 18, 2007 5:37 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
I agree
Cmon defense
lets tighten up on them
go cowboys!
by TrueBlue24 on Nov 18, 2007 5:40 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Please, please, make them punt this drive!!!!
by Philosopher on Nov 18, 2007 5:38 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
or better yet turnover
or better yet pick 6!
by scottmaui on Nov 18, 2007 5:39 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Jason Campbell
Seems like a pretty legitimate QB. He has a rocket arm and hasn't made any poor decisions with the ball so far.
Lets hope that changes.
by Brandon Worley on Nov 18, 2007 5:39 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Campbell looks like a QB on the rise
by Dave Halprin on Nov 18, 2007 5:41 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I know
by Dave Halprin on Nov 18, 2007 5:42 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
yeah, looks like they opened the playbook
and let him do some things
by Deke on Nov 18, 2007 5:43 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
come on Defense
what are you doing out there
by Deke on Nov 18, 2007 5:41 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Wow, that was so close to the upright
by Dave Halprin on Nov 18, 2007 5:43 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
only a 5 point game
by TrueBlue24 on Nov 18, 2007 5:43 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
they ain't goin beat us kickin FGs
by Terry on Nov 18, 2007 5:43 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
held them to a FG
I'd rather stop them without a score, but trading TDs for FGs isn't bad
by scottmaui on Nov 18, 2007 5:44 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Looks like a repeat of the first Giants game...
up and down the field we go!
by Pete on Nov 18, 2007 5:44 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
The Jets are giving Pittsburgh all the handle
pit up by three
by Deke on Nov 18, 2007 5:44 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
We have to score again
our D cannot stop them. They give up at least 3 every time.
Let's go guys. Need another drive.
by Philosopher on Nov 18, 2007 5:44 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Moss
Wide open on the sideline, Newmann bit on the pump fake. Good thing Campbell didn't see it.
by Brandon Worley on Nov 18, 2007 5:45 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Cmon ROMO!
we need another score!
by TrueBlue24 on Nov 18, 2007 5:46 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
nice run by the barbarian
by TrueBlue24 on Nov 18, 2007 5:48 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
A nice 8 minute drive ending with seven
would be just about perfect
by Deke on Nov 18, 2007 5:48 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
I'll take a 30 second drive
or whatever it was, ending in 7
by scottmaui on Nov 18, 2007 5:51 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Damn it...
that drive was way too short.
;)
by Pete on Nov 18, 2007 5:51 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
he cant talk right now
he's lighting a candle at Romo's shrine
by Deke on Nov 18, 2007 5:50 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
This is just stupid.
by Or Moyal on Nov 18, 2007 5:50 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
My Lord
T.O. is just freaking me out!
by Dave Halprin on Nov 18, 2007 5:50 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Wow T.O.
is just killing the Skins secondary
by Burt D on Nov 18, 2007 5:51 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
TO again....Yeah BABY!
by TrueBlue24 on Nov 18, 2007 5:51 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
OMG
Romo is playing Xbox Madden with Owens...
UNBELIEVABLE!!!
by Pete on Nov 18, 2007 5:51 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Hmm, I wonder wgo'll be up
for the Fedex offensive player of the week, T.O perhaps, Romo perhaps
by Deke on Nov 18, 2007 5:51 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
I love this
but I don't love the time on the clock! I am still uncomfortable.
Did I mention T.O. is on my fantasy team and that I love him?
by Philosopher on Nov 18, 2007 5:52 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Yeah...
I still say Washington puts up another TD before it's over.
by Pete on Nov 18, 2007 5:53 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I'll take Romo and TO over Brady and Moss anyday!
by Terry on Nov 18, 2007 5:52 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
You think they might want to cover him?
I keep thinking why waste all those plays in between and just throw Owens the damn ball.
by lee3022 on Nov 18, 2007 5:53 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Five Year Extension, Jerry!
For this man we call Terell is a god.
by Or Moyal on Nov 18, 2007 5:53 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Hey more time left means
more TDs for us. Time to pad the stats and give the skins the drubbing we all want for them.
by lee3022 on Nov 18, 2007 5:55 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
One good thing for the Skins
Campbell is looking really good
by Deke on Nov 18, 2007 5:56 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
unreal...
is our real secondary still circling on the plane over Dulles?
by Pete on Nov 18, 2007 5:57 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Hold em to 3!
by scottmaui on Nov 18, 2007 5:57 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Jason Campbell
Is going through our defense like a smoldering welding iron through butter.
That's a bit worrisome.
by Or Moyal on Nov 18, 2007 5:57 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
... But we're pulling through on 3rd downs.
by Or Moyal on Nov 18, 2007 5:59 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
4th down!
we need a stop!
by TrueBlue24 on Nov 18, 2007 5:59 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
that was too easy for the skins
our defense was awful
by TrueBlue24 on Nov 18, 2007 6:01 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
how bad is this secondary
wow how ugly was that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by cjr126 on Nov 18, 2007 6:02 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Time to be nervous
because if our offense punts, the Skins will put up a TD easily.
by Philosopher on Nov 18, 2007 6:02 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Man we can't shake these guys
Campbell is handling his business. We need a clock killer, c'mon offense.
by Dave Halprin on Nov 18, 2007 6:02 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
you have to be really worried about this defrense
I dont care how many points we're putting up, our defense has more holes than swiss cheese. Brett Favre must be lickingn his lips when he plays us.
by Deke on Nov 18, 2007 6:02 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
there has to be a balance
between running and passing
by ab03 on Nov 18, 2007 6:04 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
i'm afraid to think what favre will do in 2 weeks
if jason campbell looks this good against our secondary with those awful wr's i can only imagine what favre is going to do the week after thanksgiving.
i'm guessing 475 yds & 5 td's
by cjr126 on Nov 18, 2007 6:04 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
We NEED this 3rd down, badly!
by Dave Halprin on Nov 18, 2007 6:05 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
So much for that
by Dave Halprin on Nov 18, 2007 6:06 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
third and long
we rally have to start getting more positive plays on first down
by Deke on Nov 18, 2007 6:05 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Boo
Wrong time for the O-line to crumble.
And Oh expletive, there goes Flo.
by Or Moyal on Nov 18, 2007 6:06 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
well, the defense will have to win it
by Terry on Nov 18, 2007 6:07 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
We have to count on the D
who couldn't stop my grandmother on a slant.
:(
by Philosopher on Nov 18, 2007 6:07 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Uh oh
that could be really bad for Flo.
by Longhorn on Nov 18, 2007 6:07 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
not such a bad thing
i'm in a survival pool with $80,000 at stake & it's down to 88 people & if dallas loses its down to 58.
go washington
by cjr126 on Nov 18, 2007 6:08 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
oh shoot
not good.
by scottmaui on Nov 18, 2007 6:08 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Damn it
This is bad.
by Or Moyal on Nov 18, 2007 6:08 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
if they do score, I hope its quick
by Terry on Nov 18, 2007 6:09 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
specialty teams just as bad as defense
the redskins have had great field position all day.
by cjr126 on Nov 18, 2007 6:09 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
its about as much as an oxymoron
as there is one
by Burt D on Nov 18, 2007 6:11 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Me TOO
we are giving this game away!
by TrueBlue24 on Nov 18, 2007 6:11 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
can we have some kind of blitz
for a change
by Deke on Nov 18, 2007 6:11 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
We're not getting pressure on Campbell now
by Dave Halprin on Nov 18, 2007 6:11 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
just realized
wouldn't washington go for 2
by ab03 on Nov 18, 2007 6:13 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I am having a heart attack
we better stop the skins or we will need some more folk magic.
by Billito on Nov 18, 2007 6:12 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
better start using our timeouts
there's no doubt were giving up a td, so you might as well use your timeouts.
does this game remind you of that monday night disaster 2 years ago.
keep them out of the endzone for most of the game & with 7 minutes to go you let them score twice like it's nothing.
oh well.
by cjr126 on Nov 18, 2007 6:13 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
okay, two more plays
by scottmaui on Nov 18, 2007 6:14 PM CST reply actions 0 recs

3rd down
we need a first!
by TrueBlue24 on Nov 18, 2007 6:18 PM CST reply actions 0 recs

we have to give them the ball back one more time...
by scottmaui on Nov 18, 2007 6:19 PM CST reply actions 0 recs

don't get cute. just run the ball. cambell can't operate unless he throws over the middle.

9-1!!!
what a nailbiter!
by scottmaui on Nov 18, 2007 6:25 PM CST reply actions 0 recs

TEEEEEEEEEEEee
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
by Longhorn on Nov 18, 2007 6:30 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Marion Barber
is not an everydown back. I'm glad Jones is getting more chances...
by Longhorn on Nov 18, 2007 6:30 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
well
that might be the case, but this combination isn't exactly working either. they both need to play better but next year, they need to get rid of jones, maybe give mb3 a modest raise to keep him, and then get draft a feature back.
by ab03 on Nov 18, 2007 6:34 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Its not like JuJo did any better
by Burt D on Nov 18, 2007 6:35 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Thanks goodness for the Romo-Owens connection
Witten definitely helped with 8 for 67, and Hurd and Crayton had two catches each, but otherwise it was all T.O. with 8/173/4 (half his catches were for TDs), without much in the way of a running game or a defense.
by scottmaui on Nov 18, 2007 6:33 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
okay
now let's see the bills beat the patriots. yeah, right, but one can hope....
by scottmaui on Nov 18, 2007 6:35 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Jeez...
I thought the Jets would be a cakewalk, but now - not so sure.
by Pete on Nov 18, 2007 6:39 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Yeah
Every one of their games seems to come down to a last-second field goal.
by Or Moyal on Nov 18, 2007 6:45 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
This Was Washington's Playoff Game
And I wasn't that surprised it was close...I'm just glad we won it.
The Redskins are basically out of the division race now, with a 1-3 record, and four games behind us with only six to play. Teams with their back to the wall, against their biggest rival, usually bring everything they have. As bad as we played, we still hung on to win.
A good QB projection system predicted very good things for Jason Campbell, and while his stats were mediocre until the last couple of games, I think we're seeing now why he was so highly regarded. He has a very strong arm, a quick release, mobility in the pocket and doesn't seem to get rattled. I can only hope when we face him again on the final week the game doesn't mean anything.
Whew, and after the Jets beat Pittsburgh, it doesn't look like Thanksgiving is getting any easier.
