Game Ball Guess (Green Bay game)
For last week's game against the New York Jets, I correctly gave a game ball to the NFL schedule maker for giving us a Thanksgiving turkey (the NY Jets).
I had TE Jason Witten on offense (1 touchdown) and DE Chris Canty (who had a fine game). I selected Patrick Crayton on special teams before I knew he was scratched, although special teams didn't do much. S Roy Williams was an additional, surprise pick, but DB Newman got the big interception that I thought Roy would have.
OFFENSE:
QB Tony Romo. Maybe his best, sharpest game ever. Think Brett Favre was watching?
WR Sam Hurd. Hurd was on the same page with Romo all day. The special attention to T.O. and Witten certainly helped spread the defense and give Hurd single coverage, but Hurd took advantage to burn the Packers each time. His best game as a pro.
DEFENSE:
LB DeMarcus Ware. He gets a game ball every week. Man, is this guy good.
LB Greg Ellis. Ellis was helped by Ware again, but you've got to credit a player who knows how to sack the quarterback. Another great game.
S Ken Hamlin. His INT was the dagger that buried the Packers.
SPECIAL TEAMS:
K Nick Folk. Perfect all day.

Hmm
Romo gets the obligatory game ball...
25/35, 320 yards, 3 TDs and an INT
Jason Witten receives another: 8 catches, 120 yards, 1 TD
Flozell gets one as well, owing to his keeping Aaron Kampman sackless.
D-Ware finishes with 7 tackles and a fourth-quarter sack that forces a GB punt.
Bradie James, who led a run-smashing unit that held the emergent Ryan Grant to 50 yards.

Then you'd be hoping for Columbo
getting a game ball instead of Flozell as Kampman will be going up against columbo.

I stand corrected.
With KGB out, Kampman is by far the biggest threat. Stopping him is the priority for this line.

I'll go with Colombo, too...
On offense. Kampman is a beast, and for Dallas to be able to move the ball well, Marc will have to bury him under the field.
Defense: T-New is heating up. Pick six and no TDs for Driver.
Special Teams: Green Bay's defense is a little overrated, but still good enough to force a few punts. McBriar buries them behind the ten.

I was surprised how well the lions
ran on the Packers defense last thursday, I think dallas can moove the ball running it and controling the clock.
Kampman was pancaking the lions offensive tackle, their starting tackle, Jonathan Scott went down early with a hamstring injury, and the backup, saipaia who is listed as a guard was playing tackle, he was completely overwelmed in the game. Columbo has to play a great game.

I'm sure they'll give Colombo some help
with KGB out, so that matchup doesn't worry me as much.
The Cowboys will score often on the Pack, I just hope our defense is up to the challenge because Favre is red hot.

The only thing...
Keeping Colombo out of the Pro Bowl this year is the fact that Bigg, Flozell, and Gurode are probably going to make it, and there might not be room for a fourth Dallas O-Lineman.
Frankly, I thought he should have gone last year instead of Flo when a spot opened up, but the guy on the left side gets all the glory.
Like I said, Kampman's a beast, but I got no worries with Marc.
