Merriman's fast start had me thinking that we may have chosen the wrong guy.
Boy, was that ever a mistake. Ware is not only the better player, he's the better man.
It's hard not to give at least a little credit to Wade Phillips, both for Merriman's start and for the way our defensive pressure has escalated this year.

Hard to tell if the original is slightly smaller pic, to enhance the differences, but either way, the changes are dramatic. You gotta think that doesn't help his longevity, let alone his mind.
