gain what kind of ground?
TD record?
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Dec 16, 2007 3:12 PM CST up reply actions
qb rating
you're going to need a math class if you think he can catch that

GB-SL game finishing up
In time, thankfully.
Here we go...
that was a de-cleater.

Nice stop defense

Nice little run
then a penalty, uggh
Oh ROmo
too far, that was a long TD
somebody needs to explain wade the rule
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Dec 16, 2007 3:31 PM CST reply actions
looked like
a catch to me!
good call coach....
I guess we'll see what the ruling is
have to maintain possession
when you hit the ground
its not necessary logical
but thats the rule. they changed it a few years ago but basically if you go to the ground while catching it, you have to secure it throughout the whole thing. just how it is
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Dec 16, 2007 3:37 PM CST up reply actions
the knee has nothing to do with it
you have to maintain posession throuhgout the catch, thats even after you hit the ground
no no NO
just read the rule book
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Dec 16, 2007 3:34 PM CST up reply actions
Two missed opportunities
on the first series.. tighten it up offense
Knee
was down. So, that should negate everything after..right?
by Longhorn @ Blogging The Boys on Dec 16, 2007 3:33 PM CST reply actions
Dallas didn't make the catch, and I think that I
heard Troy and Joe Jerk clink glasses.
nope
have to control it throughout. somewhat of a new rule. but the point is its not a difficult rule and after that other game where he challenged the same thing after the fasano catch, he should know the rule
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Dec 16, 2007 3:35 PM CST reply actions
can't understand why Sam just didn't bring
the ball into his chest or body right after he made the catch.
he should have caught it
but easier said that done sometimes
The Rat!!
Great job Bradie
the secondary must not have bit
excellent...
As I had stated in an earlier thread today....
We must have more delayed blitzs from the LB's

Nice job on the screen Tank
tank
seeing a lot more of him today
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Dec 16, 2007 3:38 PM CST reply actions
you have to give the secondary credit on the sack
too, because they didn't bite on the flea flicker and McN had no place to throw it
offense
looks pretty bad today
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Dec 16, 2007 3:42 PM CST reply actions
I hate
when Tony starts slow..
by Longhorn @ Blogging The Boys on Dec 16, 2007 3:42 PM CST reply actions
Yeah
Romo a little off early
He does start like that sometimes
but when the defense is playing well, we need to get going and get some points. Put the other team on their heels. Defense is holding up their end, Offense needs to do the same.
Offense is looking bad
But Romo will get with garrett and figure out what the eagles are doing.
when are you guys going to learn that
Cowboys are a second half team, especially on offense.
Just accept it and you'll be happier.
its not a good thing that you should just accept
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Dec 16, 2007 3:45 PM CST up reply actions
You're right
especially close to the playoffs. We need to get going. We had a few games there where we were scoring first drive of the game. We need to get back to that.
I thought T-New was going to pick-six
Oh Roy
you did it again
Roy needs to go....period...

Good job Spencer
Missed FG!!
Okay, now time for the offense to find their rhythm!
Haha, they missed
Romo's got Jessica on da brain..
by BoyzRback07 on Dec 16, 2007 3:51 PM CST reply actions
Let's convert a 3rd down please
Either the Defense gives me fits
of the Offense does.
Why can't they both just play well at the same time?
you guys need to chill
just enjoy the defense right now, Romo will catch fire eventually, he always does.
this isn't a playoff game
these last few games will be tough to get up for, give them a break
btw
for those wondering, this is why you need a good running game.
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Dec 16, 2007 3:56 PM CST reply actions
that wasn't a catch...
by BoyzRback07 on Dec 16, 2007 3:57 PM CST reply actions
Henry is getting beat by Curtis
We keep screwing around and Philly's
gonna score!
Who would have thought
Cowboys have 13 yards total offense in the 1st quarter and all on the ground.
Let's go Tony...pull it together...
by BoyzRback07 on Dec 16, 2007 4:00 PM CST reply actions
we're starting to
to play down to the level of our competition. we're not making any statements here today!
and how open our aren't

he was covered

Lookin g good today!
Okay offense
the D is holding up their end.
now let's get one completion. let's get one first down.
And then maybe a TD drive?

Nice job MB3
nice hole o-line
And a first down!
now we're rolling!
TD drive coming up...
Witten rocks
Crazy!!!!!
star of stage and screen
TONY CURTIS!
It looked like it was out
to overturn they need a better angle
yeah, that angle was not definitive
can't really tell whether it was coming out already when he hit the ground
well
so much for romo catching brady.
terry, you're such a jinx
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Dec 16, 2007 4:13 PM CST reply actions
Philadelphia Is Taking a Timeout to See
If they should challenge?
Huh? Just challenge, and if you're wrong, you lose a timeout.
Reid has lost his mind.
why aren't we running more out of the spread ...
by BoyzRback07 on Dec 16, 2007 4:14 PM CST reply actions
andy reid
coaches are terrible at this. if you're going to take a timeout, just challenge. don't take a timout also. that's just dumb. phillips screwed this up last week too with the witten goal line fumble. even if you know its not a fumble but you want to take a time out, just take the challenge
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Dec 16, 2007 4:15 PM CST reply actions
time to send that chicken of the sea
back to the can, tony!!!
YOU LOOK LIKE YOU'RE IN A FOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It will be upheld
That last angle it sure does look like a fumble.
They can't overturn that
we should get the ball
i understand that
but the timeouts are worth more than the challenges
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Dec 16, 2007 4:17 PM CST up reply actions
two consecutive timeouts
must be okay if the second one is a challenge, but what a waste. thanks reid.
well that was exciting
now get a TD dammit
this game
is ruining my weekend. get well soon romo
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Dec 16, 2007 4:20 PM CST reply actions
Romo hasn't looked this bad
since the Buffalo game. Granted he has only thrown one pick so far, but he can't seem to throw to any of our guys either.
Wasted double opportunity there.
alright at least we got some points
with Romo at 2-12, we're lucky to be at this point. D deserves huge credit. And Curtis and Barber for that fumble and recovery.
Romo got to settle down and get his rhythm.
Romo
Anyone else want to pull Romo's Simpson privileges?
by jcircadian on Dec 16, 2007 4:22 PM CST reply actions
At the very least
she shouldn't be allowed at the game
Last Christmas when we played the Eagles
he had Carrie Underwood at the game and we all know what happened.
I am beginning to see a pattern!
Yes
She's clearly a jinx for Romo, and I ,for one, don't like it. Not one bit! Escort her from Texas Stadium pronto.
by APerfectStar on Dec 16, 2007 4:24 PM CST up reply actions
Terry, If you have Romo's cell phone #,
give him a wake-up call.
Romo has spolied everyone, now everyone
expects prefection every week. The guy is human, look at Brady, he stunk against the Jets, it happens.
We're winning and thats all that matters. Our defense is playing great. Enjoy that.
I've seen Brady throw for over 300 yds
and several TDs in those conditions, no excuse
Defesne is playing great
offense, not so much
it really is odd
how it can reverse from one week to the next
he didn't touch him
it wasn't a foul. Face guarding rule was changed.
the penalty was on feeley on the sideline
he touched his facemask
his helmet went downward. go get yourself a tivo
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Dec 16, 2007 4:33 PM CST up reply actions
my god you are the worst
i swear to you. there was one replay where you could see that his helmet went downward. I swear to christ on my left nut.
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Dec 16, 2007 4:35 PM CST up reply actions
yes it was!!
he wasn't playing the ball and hit in the helmet before the ball arrived.
no question that should have been PI.
YES IT IS DEKE
hand to teh facemask before the ball got there without turning around!
but they called a different one
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Dec 16, 2007 4:31 PM CST up reply actions
whatever
i'll take it. lost a few yards on it instead of a PI call
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Dec 16, 2007 4:30 PM CST reply actions
he's lucky he didn't get called for spiking it
Jessica Simpson must leave
Romo, what up?
Romo should never of throw that....
by BoyzRback07 on Dec 16, 2007 4:35 PM CST reply actions
okay
this is Jason's fault. Why are they forcing throws to TO when they have him covered. Stupid stupid...
by Longhorn @ Blogging The Boys on Dec 16, 2007 4:36 PM CST reply actions
TO is gettin really frustrated..so am I
by BoyzRback07 on Dec 16, 2007 4:36 PM CST reply actions
The Fox crew is right
I hate to say this, but we're trying too hard to force TO into the game.
I know we've got to keep him happy, but throwing picks doesn't help.
No Romo sucks today
you can't put that on redball. Tony is sloppy and including last week's game, we are taking a big step backwards. We need the half time adjustments of a lifetime because this is getting really ugly.
The Rat!
ratliff again
that signing paying early dividends
Nice pick play for the TD
sigh, Romo, you going to do it in the 2nd half?
Don't count on it
he doesn't play well with his ladies in the house watching.
Going back to last week, I still think the December curse is in effect. We don't play well in December.
Gotcha ya.
I feel like it too. We haven't looked good or consistent the last 2 weeks. It has me worried.
no way
by Dave Halprin on Dec 16, 2007 4:47 PM CST up reply actions
I think the whole team is going to
get reamed by Wade and co. Maybe this horrible first half will wake them up and we can play Dallas Cowboys football and pull out a win. Still, letting these crappy teams hang around is not good practice.
The defense has not been the problem
The better QB by far has been McNabb and we rely on Tony greatly so when he is bad so is the offense.
on a side note
i wouldn't mind if they didn't show jessica simpson again this game. maybe if the nfl network controlled their own broadcasts, we wouldn't get so much of this crap.
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Dec 16, 2007 4:52 PM CST reply actions
cup half full
Last week we were down even worse than this, and we know what happened.
Last week, the offense played well, and the defense was weak.
This week the defense is playing well, but the offense is weak, or more to the point, Romo stinks.
But the O-line is doing a good job getting him time, and he has shown before how he has struggled in the first half and then found his rhythm in the second half.
Thank Goodness
We're playing a team with a poor offense, otherwise we'd be losing like 17-3.
Philadelphia's defense is much better than Detroit's, so Romo better shake the fog off or we're going to be 12-2.
This Doesn't Surprise Me
At all...actually, Romo doing his Rex Grossman impersonation has surprised me. Heck that doesn't surprise me, since his hearthrob is in the stadium.
But there is a silver lining. I'd rather we get this stinker out of our system, even if we lose to Philadelphia, than one of our final two games. I think it will help us focus down the stretch, and improve our chances in the playoffs. We'd lose if we started this way against Tampa Bay or Minnesota.
well
last year we didn't get things out of our system as much as we just went on a terrible streak.
and as much i like owens, i really don't like the me first yelling he does when they're losing. it definitely doesn't help and probably makes matters worse. your qb is having a bad day, yelling at him won't help.
by ab03 @ Blogging The Boys on Dec 16, 2007 4:58 PM CST up reply actions
OK I'm not kidding!
Get Jessica Simpson the F%^& outta the stadium.
The Iggles defense isn't beating us, it's all on Romo.
Throwing and INT into the end zone is a game changer (even though Barber saved the day and let us still score a FG.
And that crappy throw to TO was forced and against a good CB like Sheppard, WTF?
I told you guys she is lowering his IQ every day they spend together.
Agreed
Romo seemed to be self-conscious early in the game, like he knew she was watching. I don't think it's any coincidence her presence and his play are related.
Remember Christmas and Carrie.
And what bites is neither of those women are all that hot.
