Matt Moore on Hurd and Austin, SIRIUS 12/21

Matt Moore, QB, Panthers, was on Movin' the Chains and was asked about the Cowboy receivers he threw to most often in practice.

Moore had a lot of nice stuff to say about Hurd and Austin. I know, guys do this all the time when speaking of opposing players so as not to give any bulletin board material, but Moore's praise went beyond the normal in that way.

He predicts stellar careers for both of them, highlighting their size, strength, speed (in Austin's case anyway) and work ethic.

That last part is the bit that got me excited. He says these kids are both hungry and are devoted to becoming great players. Talent-wise, there's nothing holding them back from becoming top-flite receivers.

Side note: he says Sam Hurd has especially attached himself to TO and wants to be just like him, on the field that is. He apparently works out with TO, does everything he does, etc.
