Madden Curse

I'm superstitious enough to NOT want Romo on the cover. I'd say its a very good possibility. Maybe Moss or Brady, although I bet Brady would decline it. Maybe Adrian Peterson. Maybe Favre. BUT PLEASE NOT ROMO.

I was looking for some sort of online petition but could not find one. I'd say Cowboy Nation is big enough that if a boycott of EA sports was threatened, they'd keep Romo off the cover!

That curse is eerily effective, though. The only guy I can remember who's avoided it since I started playing these games was Ray Lewis.

Ok, kinda off topic here....

But EA Sports is NOT headquartered in Riverside, CA. I used to live in Moreno Valley (just north of Riverside) and I live in Fontana now (just outside Riverside county) and had never heard of EA Sports being headquartered in Riverside. So I researched and EA Sports is actually headquartered in Redwood City, CA.

Sorry, but I have to claim BS on this supposed "story" from Yahoo answers, based on the fact that the person posting it doesn't know his anus from a hole in the wall. Therefore I believe Tony Romo will NOT be on Madden 2009 cover.

Tony Romo

is the best marketing tool that the NFL has right now. I live here in Baltimore and women here who don't watch football or know who Todd Heap is love them some Tony Romo. I wouldn't be surprised to see him on the cover next year. I think the only thing that would keep him off the cover is the fact that it seems like he doesn't like all the attention and other than the fact that he's dating all the girls that us normal guys have dirty dreams about when we're bored at work, it seems like he just wants to be one of us.

Belichik on the cover. Will never happen. I agree that they'll probably put AD or Brady on the cover. But I'd love for the curse to get that rat bastard (sorry for the language).
