Unlike a majority of their fans, the actual Cowboys are very confident going into the playoffs as well they should be. Romo said the they really didn't gameplan for the Skins because they might see them again in the playoffs. Smart move. I'm extremely confident they will play well in 2 weeks, especially Romo, he won't let us down.
The Cowboys, who were once on pace to break the then-NFL scoring record, averaged a pedestrian 15 points per game in December. Seems like that might be reason for concern, but it apparently isn't.
"I'm not concerned about anything except this next ballgame coming up," Wade Phillips said, "and I think we'll be ready to play."
He also thinks T.O. will be ready to go, which might make a minor difference.
Tony Romo wasn't worried after the Cowboys failed to score a touchdown for the second time in three games. He noted that Dallas didn't put together a typical game plan for the Redskins, because the Cowboys wanted to keep some things in their pocket for a potential playoff rematch.
"We held some things back," said Romo, who completed seven of 16 passes for 86 yards and a pick in the loss. "We're more than confident going into the playoffs."
