Romo needs 7 more touchdowns to get to 40. Will he? Does it even matter?
So this morning I'm reading about the game last night between the Ravens and the Patriots, trying to figure out what Billick and Harrison were talking about, and something caught my eye, it seems that last night:
Brady joined Manning, Dan Marino and Kurt Warner as quarterbacks who threw for at least 40 touchdowns in a season
Now, as we all know Tom Brady is having the season of seasons, as is his coach and the rest of his team. I hate it 3 or 4 diaries worth, but thankfully Tony Romo and the Cowboys making it all much easier to stomach due to their amazing year.
Romo has 33 touchdowns as of today. He has four games left, but I expect and I hope that he and the rest of the starters get a lot of rest against Washington.
Anyhow I know it doesn't make any difference how they score, and 40 Romo TDs is certainly not something you put ahead of winning games. I just, well I just think it would be pretty cool for Romo's name to elbow its way onto that list.
