I'm happy about this.  They're reporting a 6 year deal, but no dollar amounts.  At first, the whole six year deal thing gave me pause, but then I realized that we're talking NFL contracts here.  So, I guess that is just the number of years they are spreading the signing bonus out over.  I'll be interested to see how much it is per year...

Interesting that the headline calls it their number one priority.  If that came from the Cowboys, I wonder if that means we are in for a relatively tame free agency where they just re-sign their guys and bring in depth.  That would mean they're more interested in backup QB and linebacker and D-Line depth I suppose.
