Michael Lewis, secure our return game and provide somewhat of a WR.....if we find a young guy who can challenge Lewis, we could then release him. wouldnt take that much of a contract

Lavar Arrington, a pure situational player, unless he earns anything above that.....no teams will take him, why not take a flyer if he'll sign for the minumim on a 1 year......low risk- high reward, and even if he plays good, he shouldnt start, just provide depth and play a lot of downs at different LB spot, fingers down and standing up

flyer on these two? we cant afford for our punt return game to suck, also our kick return but we have guys who can do that ok

No Way

on Arrington. He has always stated he hates the Cowboys. I find it interesting EVERY time a guy gets cut or somehow becomes available, I read like 15 blogs about whether or not he will end up a Cowboy. I am personally for signing Holly Mangold. She is a load and a hell of a run blocker.

I totally agree, no way!

We drated Stanback to be our return guy and if healthy, I think will be special. Lewis is this era's version of Vince Papale, nice story, but not good enough for this team.

I've hated Arrington since his days at Penn State (being a Pitt Alumn) and he's always injured. You can have the jerk.

Arrington

His career is probably over after that motorcycle accident. Good player, but his health was already questionable, and now he has a broken arm and leg. If he plays again, it won't be this year.

Between Austin and Stanback, we'll be ok on returns. The only FAs this team could use are CB, DT, and C depth, I think.
