This is DEFINITELY a naive question, because I really have no clear idea how things work behind the scenes.

If Sean Payton was so clever about how to rip open the Cowboy's Defense, why didn't he voice those insights when he was WITH the Cowboys?  Which leads me to wondering, If Wade is clever designing defenses, wouldn't he be a perfect person to show Jason Garrett where his offensive strategy weaknesses are?  And vice-versa, does Garrett get a chance to take apart the Cowboy's defense in team scrimmages?

The answers may seem obvious at first, but I would love anyone's insight into how the coordinators interact with each other.  Thanks and I'll try to sound wiser and more informed in the future.
