Cowboys #2 seed in NFC??

Dennis Dillon over at the Sporting News posts an article predicting all the seedings for the 2007 season . He has the Cowboys seeded #2 in the NFC which if everyone stays healthy is a fairly accurate forecast. He has New Orleans as the #1 seed, which based on what they accomplished last season is fair. The surprise team, according to Dillon, are the 49ers at #5 in the NFC. They seem to be the trendy sleeper team this offseason. The AFC has the usual cast of characters lead by NE at #1, wow, what a surpise. Who doesn't have NE rated as the #1 team in the league other than the homers at Stampede Blue? Here is the blurb on the 'Boys.

  1. Dallas. The Cowboys' players are sold on the 3-4 according to Wade Phillips -- and so am I. Tony Romo regressed a bit toward the end of last season, but he has the makeup to become a star.

I absolutely agree with this analysis, other than Romo regressing which didn't happen. He should have said the defense regressed, but anyway, he is right about Romo becoming a star, its only a matter of time.
