Belichick's Press Conference

What a complete waste of time. Let me sum it up. "we are moving forward, its in the past." Loved when the reporter asked "can you tell us how you misinterpreted the rules" he replied "doesn't matter its in the past" then she burned him with "you lost half a million dollars and a 1st round pick i think it does matter." Too bad nobody asked him how it feels to be labled a cheater and have your accomplishments tarnished.

his arrogance is unbounded. No wonder he and Parcells had a fall-out. And to think everyone blamed Parcells.

The biggest problem is that Goodell helped Belichick drag the NFL into the same hole when it could have distanced itself from it. Really badly handled, Roger.

You had it right the first time

It's not that Belicheck is in denial, he just doesn't care what us peons think. He basically had an affair with one of his employees and destroyed her marriage, forces injured players back onto the field before they are ready, has the cojones to say videotaping signals from the opposing defense were never used to give the Pats an advantage (then why do it?). The guy is a complete bastard to the Nth degree.

While watching that press conference,

I just wanted to reach through my monitor and slap his silly mug face.If there was one fine, or sanction, or demand for that matter that Roger Gooddell should have done, would have been for this piece of sh*t to stand up like a man and admit, and apologize to the world that he cheated and deliberately broke the rules, the same rules that were faxed in a memo only two days prior to his actions. Even Mike Vick at least made a heartfelt effort for our forgiveness,and took full responsibility for his actions.BELICHEAT was pathetic, he was squirming around on the podium deflecting any sort of guilt, and responsibility. I can only hope that the media continues to ask the tough questions, to make him as uncomfortable as possible, cuz Roger's slap on the wrist punishment was rediculous.I wonder if Belicheat would still be considered a great coach if he hadn't been cheating all these years. I can assure you this was not the first time he's done this.The Jets coach knew what to look for, and recognized the video assistant on his sideline and had the camera and tape witheld. I believe you must totally ignore his entire career acomplishments now that he has been caught blatantly defacing the integrity of fairness and competiveness of this nations best sport.ummm.... and to think, Barry Bonds, (who has never tested positive for a banned substance), has to live daily with the scrutiny of being a cheat and have all his records tarnished, and all this bastard Belicheat has to do is look like a complete moron, and say all his thoughts are on the chargers ? and make no effort at all to admit what he did was more than wrong, it is worthy of a ban for any Hall Of Fame considerations.
