Of the 23 position players Gil names to his All-Rookie team:

6 were second round picks.

Now here is a guy that knows talent.
Gil Brandt is a guy Jerry Jones had to get rid of when he bought the team, cuz he and Jimmy Johnson were gonna be doing all the drafting.Gil Brandt is one the best talent evaluators ever...and, although I know he's up there in age... I really wish we could somehow entice him to come back to the Cowboys. wishful thinking on my part.

Spencer
I'm a little disappointed that Spencer didn't make the team. I can't really quarrel with any of the 3 LBs who made the cut...but I don't think any of those three would have better seasons behind Ellis than Spencer has had. (I can't help but wonder who the 4th LB would have been if he handed out the awards in a 3-4 format instead of a 4-3....)
Congrats to Folk, though. One of the things I've most enjoyed this season has been how much more comfortable I've been watching the Cowboys line up for a FG. Last year...ack! Behind me, Satan! Go not there!
