As the Dallas Cowboys approach their first playoff game this post-season, it's become vogue to continue bashing our team of stars.
Up to this very moment, it has become an extension of the regular season... between the media's skepticism of us winning this Sunday to the latest disrespect from our upcoming opponents, The New York Football Giants.
On one hand, the way our team played in December is indeed cause for concern... but it's surely not cause for outright denigration.
Speaking of which, check out some of the things quoted by some members of the G-men starters...
Justin Tuck said Thursday. "We're going down there to play a football game and to win it."
Oh but Mr. Tuck didn't stop there.
"You really can throw away those two games," Tuck said. "It's going to be a different story. They are not the same team. We are not the same team."
And how about one more "Tuck" zinger... a sort of quasi-guarantee.
Tuck said he would be surprised if the Giants don't advance to the NFC Championship Game.
Last, but not least, vet-WR Amani "It Is Not A" Toomer provides a rather confident parting shot.
"We have an opportunity to do something big," Toomer said. "We feel like we are going to go down to Dallas and compete and win."
Well, I guess that means the Giants are gonna win, right?

On a side note - Someone should get some white t-shirts made for this "whiteout" home game with the words "F__k Tuck" in screen-printed Cowboy Blue.
Just a thought.
