The tabloids are reporting that Jessica Simpson found out that Romo is still chummy with Carrie Underwood and she forbid Tony from having anymore contact with her at all. A part of me wishes Romo dumps Simpson and goes back with Underwood because at least their relationship was less public and they didn't show her on FOX's broadcasts during games she attended. Tim MacMahon form DMN Blog seems to agree.

And I think we can all agree that Carrie deserves a lot of credit for nursing Romo after the Seattle Slip. After all, her comforting touch helped prepare Romo for the best statistical QB season in America's Team history.

If Romo hooks up with Carrie again, we've got a surefire Hall of Famer on our hands, especially with Jason Garrett sticking around Valley Ranch.
