The tabloids are reporting that Tony was cheating on Jessica Simpson all along
with his college sweetheart and actually plans to propose to her on Valentines Day. This is a shocker!

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has dumped Jessica Simpson and is going to propose marriage on Valentine’s Day to his college sweetheart, the Enquirer has learned exclusively.
And here’s a shocker for Jessica: The entire time Tony was dating her, he was two-timing her with Crystal Kasper - a 25-year-old optometrist he first fell for during his student days at Eastern Illinois University.
"If you could see Tony’s phone bill from all the calls and text messages he sends Crystal, you’d be stunned," said an insider close to the quarterback.
"They couldn’t hook up much during the season. She was finishing her doctoral studies in Florida. But I know Tony flew Crystal to a game in Chicago where they spent time together.
"Tony’s family is happy because he’s dumped Jessica and the Hollywood scene."

So are Cowboys fans across the world. Romo is finally going to abide by Parcells 11th QB commandment, thou shall not be a celebrity QB. This must be the same chick who dumped Tony right before he was named starter in Oct 2006.

I'm just glad there won't be anymore Hollywood headlines surrounding Romo or the team anymore. Back to normalcy.

Romo is a great QB and proved that this season. There were no distractions for him at all, only teammates who failed him, thats all. He was dating Jessica when he lit up your Packers a few months ago.
I don't know what being undrafted has anything to do with anything. Brady was a 6th rounder which is practically a FA and he's the best game has to offer.

first b c i thought you were the loudest voice saying Romo's struggles had nothing to do wSimpson, Cabo, etc. Now it seems like you think they did.

second, b/c what these guys do in the offseason is entirely irrelevant to me. i don't care if romo dates simpson, underwood or aiken.

I never said Jessica was a distraction

and I still believe she had nothing to do with his performance on the field, however, if the media is constantly hounding him weekly because of somebody he's dating, evetually, over time, it will get to him, athough I didn't think that was the case this fall or before the Giants game.

If Romo is dating a non celebrity then the only media scrutiny he'll have to face is what he does on the field.

I read pretty much everything on this blog. I'm crazy about Grizz's creation that way.

IF McM is a guy o this blog, I didnt mean to insult him, I thought he was the Dallas News guys.

I just think the amount of time spent on this blog talking about Romo's sex life has gotten to the point of being weird.

I would giggle without end if this is true

mostly because it would turn the tables on the speculation that Jess was using Romo. Then again, the source, the timing, the fact that Tony doesn't come off as a manipulative douchebag- all of these factors make me doubt the story's authenticity.
