Cowboys random articles
Here’s the latest on the coaching situation.
An interview has not been set up, but if the Dolphins want to speak with Sparano before the Cowboys' season ends, they have to do it by Saturday. And they will have to wait in line.
According to one of the sources, Baltimore is expected to meet with Sparano at an undisclosed location Saturday about its opening after the Ravens fired Brian Billick earlier in the week. The Ravens have also expressed interest in offensive coordinator Jason Garrett.
Sparano and Garrett are scheduled to meet locally with Atlanta owner Arthur Blank today.

Roy Williams is changing his jersey number next year to #38.
Williams said Thursday he would change his uniform number back to the one he wore as a standout at the University of Oklahoma beginning next season.

Nick Eatman on Ken Hamlin’s role as a leader and a guy with playoff experience.

Looks like Roy is ready to rededicate
himself next year to elite status once again, and it all begins with changing his number to the one he wore when he was truly a dominating player. I like it.

Whatever
New number, same tired player who can't cover. Good thinking Roy. All those kids parents who spent their hard earned money on your jersey can now throw them in the garbage. Hopefully, they stopped wearing them a long time ago.

Well....
at least he can admit that changes and/or improvement are needed. The real question will we actually see some improvement and furthermore, how much....

all that changes
is that now instead of yelling at 31, its 38.
Im not trying to be overly critical, but I'm tired of watching people run right past him either in coverage or while trying to make a tackle.
If he doesn't improve soon I think we all agree that he needs to be replaced.

agree
I don't care how many tackles he makes, that could be good or bad depending on how you look at it. I would sacrifice many of those tackles for some coverage ability.

too bad
he was never elite. And for him to 'rededicate' means that he never was dedicated...just sad.

to rededicate
means that he was once dedicated, but lost that somewhere in the past couple seasons. now hes claiming that he can just flip a switch and be at the top of his potential again.
unfortunately, for me and most of you, those are just words and i think we need to see some improvement before getting all hyped up about a number change and a new attitude.

Nice Ploy Roy
He's hoping the other team won't know where he's at. I heard he's also gonna chant "I'm Invisible, I'm Invisible, I'm Invisible" to avoid getting beat deep.
Won't work - it's like turning your hat backwards.
What I'm afraid will happen is Roy will start trying too hard to compensate and end up getting hurt. Tackling is fundamental and if he hasn't changed his habits by now a new number won't help him wrap up.

Still think we need to offer Dolphins........
a package deal. Give them R, Williams (even eat some of his contract, sign Hamlin) and B. Carpenter for there #1, could also make same deal with Baltimore, but if memory serves me, they may have a desent line backer and safty. Hey, yah, Alanta too; if U want our couch u going to have to play ball or we will make it harder than it has to be. Just a greedy little thought. You know the 1....Whats in it for me.

again, never will hppen
you guys have to get it out of your head that we're not dealing with parcells to get the #1 pick in the draft. isn't happening.
I think there's a better chance of Bill Belichick being elected President of U.S. quite frankly.

On the Ticket, Norm Hitzges was talking about
Dallas going after Detroit's Roy Williams. Maybe we can trade Roy for Roy.Ha!

thing I don't like about Roy is he's
a china doll, plus he disappears in too many games.
Talented guy though, thats for sure.

He's like our Roy. He'd like to revert back to
those "All-world" college days.
