Looks like it will be a whiteout at Texas Stadium

DMN Blog is reporting that the Cowboys are asking all fans attending the game on Sunday to wear white. Its going to look like the student section at Happy Valley for crying out loud. Have the Cowboys ever asked the fans to do this before? I can't recall.

Star-divide

The Cowboys are asking fans to wear white to Sunday's game at Texas Stadium.

If you're one of the first 40,000 through the gates, they'll give you a cute, white rally towel to wave. Parking lots open at 10 a.m., gates at 12:30.

I don't think they have ever asked,

but I think we need the crowd to be fired up more than they ever have!

I want them crazy and loud as ever while we are on defense!

Wow

I really like the idea and the towels. Sometimes our crowd can get a little quiet when things aren't going well. We need a hyped crowd for 4 quarters so if this helps I'm all for it!

That is insane

I wish I could be part of something like that. I went to the Philly game where you all know we got stomped on. I believe, being a Texas A&M student, that the 12th man is essential for a football team.

If it helps Dallas out anyway, I'm gonna white out myself on Sunday!

My popcorn's ready!

I will be attending...

the game and will be sure to be in my White D-Ware Jersey.  This will be my 5th game of the season that I have begged and borrowed to get into.  I can assure you all that either way I will be coming out of that stadium unable to utter a single word.

How can the crowd not get fired up for this

The first home playoff game in years against a hated division opponent. The fans should be going f'n nuts over this. Especially given Eli's trouble beating the play clock.

Texas Stadium is going to be rocking.

I'll be there

I'm so pumped to have scored tickets!!  It was VERY hard to get some, but it was a labor of love.  I've got my white Irvin jersey with the blue sleeves and stars on the shoulder.  That will work right?

Good for you!

A moment in time you will never forget. Scream and hollar till your throat is shredded. I'll be doing the same thing at home in front of the big screen, and sending good vibes to Irving, TX.

Man, I wish I could be there

but stuck in NC!  Oh well, maybe next year after I move down that way!!

My girl went to Penn State

and I went to a couple games where they did the white out.  It was awesome, lets hope it works at Texas Stadium

how much home field advantage?

I live in CT and have never been to a Dallas home game. But I think I have read that Texas Stadium does not get very loud. Is this true? And if it is true, is it because of lackluster fans or just the acoustics of the stadium?

I can't recall ever watching on TV where it seemed the crowd was making an impact on the games. Maybe it's just been so long since our glory days that I've just forgotten.

i have never been to a Dallas home

game either but if you watch the Colts game from last year and this year against GB, the crowd did impact those "play-off" like games

maybe...

...it is just that I just watched a Seattle home game and I'm setting the bar to high.

Texas Stadium can get really loud

I just attended the Pats game this season and at times it was deafening, very loud. When the fans want to get going, they can cause a lot of noise for th opposing QB.

I go to the home opener

every year. This year(vs the gints)It was really rockin! I don't think the atmosphere of Texas stadium transfers well on television. But it can definitely get LOUD!
