Felix Rookie of the Week...again!

So the NFL's oldest looking rookie has won rookie of the week for the third time this season. I must say, I'm impressed. I thought he'd be a great addition when we drafted him, but who would have predicted this? Averaging 9 yards a carry? My god. This guy is a beast. I think Grizz said it best a while back, Felix makes me giddy every time he touches the ball. Hopefully he can keep up his performance and take home rookie of the year. On NFL Playbook...
Both Sterling Sharpe and Brian Baldinger agreed that Felix Jones is THE best RB this year. I was shocked by this proclamation.

Well, not only did yours truely predict this, but going back as far as I can with saved posts, I predicted this nearly 3 and a half months before he was even drafted by us :
deke…rarely do i disagree with you..but… YOU ARE WAY WAY WAY OFF WITH YOUR ASSESSMENT OF FELIX JONES. HE IS BETTER THAN REGGIE BUSH, AND YOU WILL SEE IN THE UPCOMING YEARS.opsss…sorry bout the caps..
Stay in school ? Let’s just say he did…HE would be a top 5 overall draft pick next year. We get him this year at 22, would be a steal..I think we need to trade up to 17th spot to get him.Funny how we had to do the same thing when Emmitt was drafted.
Felix Jones will be offensive rookie of the year in 2008..write it down.

btw, why did you think we needed to get to 17 to get him? were you concerned about philly at 19? i read someone’s article indicating that since philly got lorenzo booker, they passed on felix at 19. not sure if that’s true or not.

A lot of it
has to do with the fans voting. Cowboys nation is huge. Matt Ryan is quietly having a solid season for a rookie QB, but he hasn’t won yet because he plays for Atlanta. Same goes for Steve Slaton.
