3rd and 17
I know we had PLENTY of mistakes in the game, but there is one play that sticks in my mind even more then the blocked punt at the end of the game.
In the 3rd Quarter we were up 14-7 and the Cardinals had a 3rd and 17. Greg Ellis got his hand on a Kurt Warner throw and it landed in the hands of Hightower only to convert the 3rd down. Poor Defense? I don't think so. To me it was a flukey play that ultimately shifted the momentum of the game.
The sad thing is that this play is the one that stands out in my mind the most, but there were probably 10 other plays that were just as weird. Overall, this was the strangest Cowboys game I've seen in awhile (probably since the Buffalo game last year).

It's crazy how plays like this could change a season
We had all the momentum. If that pass falls incomplete, who knows what we could have done.
I’m guessing we score again, and Romo isn’t out for 4 weeks because we don’t go to overtime.
It’s funny how the ball bounces sometimes…

that really was a momentum changer
they had done nothing on offense prior to that, and we had them backed against the wall, and then Ellis actually made a nice read on the screen and got his hands on the ball, but just not quite enough. one of those things, that’s the way the ball bounces. but we also got some bounces our way, and it all evens out in the end, and you have to be able to win even when the bounces don’t go your way. But if Ellis had just gotten a fraction of an inch more of that ball, we probably win the game.

Yep
That play was a momentum shifter. Before that they were pathetic, after that, they started moving the ball through the air. (Albeit with some super plays from Fitz, that guy is money)

I loved him as a Pittster
I viewed him like Grizz looked upon Calvin Johnson at GT, the very best college WR I ever saw.

For me it was the 3 possesions that started in Cards territory that resulted
in zero points. We score a td on one of those possesions who knows how the game ends up.
