Todd Archer reports that P Mat McBriar suffered a fractured right foot when Arizona's Sean Morey blocked the punt in overtime. He's expected to miss 6-8 weeks.

We'll let you know as soon as we have some info about potential punting replacements.

LOL!!!

I think the new punter will be able to qualify for all punting stats by the end of the 3rd qtr in next week’s game.

He might then be out for the next game on account of leg soreness from punting so much. lol

Injured reserve?

I don’t think that they want to cut him, but with so many guys hurt right now, can you afford to carry 2 punters? Danny White and Brad Johnson are about the same age, why not bring back White to cover both Romo and McBriar?

cut him?!

he’s an all-pro for crying out loud, you don’t cut an all-pro!

I say we cut Barbie and keep McBriar on the active roster. He’s even worthless on ST.

I wasn't suggesting they cut him.

I’m saying that’s why he probably has to go on IR. Most teams probably just cut their punter and feel safe that he’ll be there when he gets healthy, but McBriar would probably get signed even though he’s hurt.

I’m all for cutting Carpenter, or even Justin Rogers.
