Well, at least we'll have a high 1st round pick!!!!
Oh wait, Uh............, NEVER MIND!!!! Whoever the new coach, Offensive and defensive coordinators are will have to make do with a bunch of hearltess, gutless under achievers who will be coddled by their main enabler. Even under the the Campo regime I don't remember them playing this bad, and even if they did it was because they lacked talent. That's not the case now. My only faint glimmer of hope is that Phillips can pull a Coughlin and do something to get the team reenergized.

Good Gosh!! It's week 7
I’m just as dissappointed with the poor play we have seen over the last few weeks, but crap…it’s week 7. We are underachieving, we are playing terrible, are coaches haven’t game planned well, and yes, we haven’t looked this bad since the Campo regime, but C’mon!!
None of us expected us to have a record this bad in 7 games, but let me remind you that we are still the most talented team in the league. I would much rather start the season off this bad, be a wildcard team, and peak in January than have a 13-3 record and lose the first game of the playoffs.
Just a reminder: The 2001 Patriots started their first 7 games with a record of 3-4 and went on to win the Super Bowl. IT’S STILL WAY TOO EARLY TO GIVE UP!!!

Hooray overreactions!
And you don’t remember them playing this bad? How about Campo’s first game as coach

It's not over reaction.
I just follow trends. 3 weeks ago they play up and down but eake out a win. Last week they play worse and have a close loss. Now this week they play even WORSE and get blown out. See the trend? I believe I did say that they could pull a Giants and get it together, and YES, a bad start/strong finish is bettter than the other way around like last year, but I’ve seen NO evidence of the STRONG FINISH part of the equation and until I do I have to go with what I see.

Unfortunately, I agree with you
My rose colored glasses are off and smashed under my foot. Anyone still holding out hope for this team is a fool. They are unraveling in front of our eyes in a meltdown the size of which I cannot remember seeing.
If somebody is not fired this week, this team will finish no better than 8-8 and it will be painful to watch.
