Could Culpepper Be A Cowboy?
Is Jerry working his magic again?
FOXSports.com has learned that Culpepper told the Chiefs on Monday that he has a better opportunity with another team and was thus going to cancel his Tuesday visit. It's not clear which team, if any, he was referring to.
Could be something, could be nothing. But seriously...the Chiefs have a horrible QB situation right now and Dante has a better opportunity "with another team"? What other team could that be?

Don't see
Don’t see what good it would do, unless you want a backup QB for the playoffs. Not like Culpepper is going to join the team and be ready to play any time soon. Bollinger has been on the team all season and he isn’t ready because he’s been playing scout team.
My guess is it's the Bengals.
But with JJ at the helm, anything is possible.
Why are the Bengals a better opportunity?
Their 0-8 and Palmer will be back next year. With the Chiefs he could become the starter next year. My guess would be the Niners or Rams. Those are the only other teams I could think of that he would have a chance to start for next year.

Doubt that would happen
By the time he’d even be ready, Romo would be back.
That #38 sure should wrap up!

Not likely at all
He wouldn’t be able to come in and immediately help. Only way this is a possibility is if they say thanks but no thanks to Brad after his 2 terrible performances and cut him. Then Bollinger would start while Romo is out and during the off season Bollinger and Culpepper battle for the backup spot. I don’t see it at all, especially since he’ll want to be a starter and not a back up.
What about Detroit, SF, or Cinci. All would be better opportunities since it’s possible he could start for any one of them. Palmer could be out for the season which would allow him to start the rest of the year in Cinci. Detroit is a possibility but I doubt it’s there. SF could happen since JTO got benched and we all know what they have behind him..
btw....He KNOWS he isn't going to be a starter......
and Carson Palmer isn’t going anywhere..

The Niners Make The Most Sense
Mike Martz vertical passing offense. With Shaun Hill being a dink-and-dunk type — and just being named their starting QB — Culpepper would have the best chance of starting in SF later this season and going into ’09.
JTO pi**es da he** out of me. With Jay Cutler being on a bye week, I was forced to start that idiot — who excelled vs Seattle in their first matchup. But as we all know, JohnnyTurnOver combined for like five turnovers in the first half alone before being benched. And that so-called QB cost me my fantasy league game in Week 8.

Doubt it
He’s got the arm strength, but he won’t be ready to go this Sunday. Then Dallas has the bye the week after, then hopefully Romo returns to the lineup.

Word is
Garrett was pretty unimpressed by DC in MIA. That and all the reasons cited above make this a non-story for DAL
