but when you have the lead and you’re getting a good performance from your defense, its much easier to win when overcompensating with the run vs. the pass.

Impressions of the game so far
-Our defense is average at best. If you want to see a dominating defense, watch Tennessee.
-Glad the whole “we are going to force feed TO” was not real.
-Get El Gato the ball, no excuses. The guy is a player.
-Romo has a long way to go before he is even mentioned as an “elite” QB. The guy is way too hot and cold and his cold his frickin arctic.

Pretty much
Palmer is a good QB and he’s got good targets, unless they are just totally sucking they are going to make some plays. holding them to 2 FGs, including one on a short field, is good.
On offense, I like the playcalling and execution overall, except for one boneheaded play by Romo.
Cincy is 0-4 but they did take the Gnats to overtime last week, and look at what the Gnats did to the Hawks.

There is no reason this game should be this close. I never see him talking to any of his players on the sidelines. I would’ve liked to see him get in Romo’s face after fumbling the ball. I’m tired of seeing the same old crap happen week in and week out with him.

The D is NOT playing a good game so far
Outside the one 3 & out, the Bengals are moving the ball, almost at will, and keep shooting themselves in the foot once they get in the red zone.
The run defense is bad, more missed tackles. No real pressure, even with blitzes. And the DBs are STILL playing 8 yards off of receivers.

Dallas played well overall
But 2 key mistakes led to the Bungles getting 6 pts.
1) The 50 yd KO return
2) Romo reverting to holding the ball like a purse
When they get the ball back in the second half they need to go back to the run more. Romo doesn’t look too sharp. Let El Gato and MB3 pound the defense down.

Whats up guys, just checking in...
Watching the game downstairs with the laptop plugged into the TV, so I haven’t been able to hop on here. Thoughts so far:
I like the defense’s intensity, but a healthy Carson Palmer would make this game a lot more interesting.
I think the Cowboys offense let up a bit after two easy drives, and now Romo is pissed at himself because he knows it should be like, 30-3 at this point.
The offense needs to come out and ram it down the Bengals throat. I also want to see Romo taking some big shots downfield, but the Bengals are playing that over-the-top cover 2 that seems to thwart Owens.
Quote of the day: My wife, 3 minutes before Romo fumbles the ball: “Romo doesn’t run it as much like he used to, he needs to run more.”

Radio broadcast rights piss me off!!
I am stuck in the Chicago airport OUTSIDE of the terminals waiting on my ride to pick me up in about an hour and ahalf. Sitting here online and cannot even listen to the game online anywhere. SUCKS!!! How are we looking? I know we are winning but its Cincy. Do we look better than last week?
