Dallas and the Wildcat formation

What do you guys think about the Cowboys implementing this. Getting Felix and Barber on the field at the same time. We could have Felix or Barber receive the snap and either hand it off to the other, chose a hole and go, or pass the ball. I think it would be possible with our O Line, and provide a few more big plays each game. I think we need to get Felix more involved and Felix is used to this formation from Arkansas as him and McFadden ran this formation. McFadden would take the direct snap and hand it off take it or pass it.

Have we ever seen Barber throw a pass?

I’d feel a lot more comfortable with someone who we know can throw from that formation, like Crayton or Stanback.

only teams with horrible QBs run that offense.

Romo should never come off the field unless he’s hurt, the offense runs through him and always will so long as he’s playing.

romo wouldnt come off the field...

pennington lines up as a reciever…but other than. NO i don’t like the idea…maybe once or twice if we’re bored and up by 30, but based on last week, that aint happening

I love the idea

of having Stanback take the snap with the option of handing to Felix or throwing to Romo.

That’d be so sick if Romo caught a TD pass.

I say take romo out, no reason to risk getting him hurt..

I would love to see us roll it out, especially considering Stanback’s strong suit is running in space..

It will never happen.....but

with Stanback, F Jones, and MBIII…you couldn’t find a better trio in the league to pull it off, and be extremely effective doing so….
