From Mickey
Did you catch the newest defensive package the Cowboys came up with against Cincinnati? At times when the Bengals went three wide and two running backs, they played three corners – Pacman Jones, Mike Jenkins, Orlando Scandrick – and two linebackers – Bradie James and Kevin Burnett – at the same time, with a single safety. That’s right, Anthony Henry came out of the game, the Cowboys playing two rookies instead.

Interesting….I like it….

And...

How did that end up?

yeah

and Henry was dead lost on the Housh TD.

Which one?

Housh had it easy for both TD’s, but I don’t know whose responsibility that 2nd one was.

henry's on a serious decline....hasn't showed up all year..consistantly beat in every game...

he should be playing FS….period…and I’m not even sure if he’s better than Watkins or Brown at that position…

Why I said IR is real possible
This Terence Newman ongoing groin problem is starting to sound serious, and when you hear further tests are being conducted, to me that means there is concern something more than a groin issue is going on down there. That sometimes means lower abdominal wall problems. Never good, never short term.

So What?

What has he done this season anyways besides making Jason Campbell look good? The secondary will be fine w/o him.

You’re way off. He wasn’t in the game vs. Cinci, how’d that work? Looked like guys were confused by the 3 WR sets. Don’t blame him for the Scums doing well.

Pac is coming along, but who else?

Still need a healthy T-New unless the entire secondary gets their stuff together.

I agree

We need a healthy t new, if we need to shut him down for a while let’s do that..

Im starting to agree with that

Pacman is our best CB right now

if he could just catch

he is making plays breaking up passes and has been the last 3 games or so, but he’s also dropped INT chances in every game, too! like 3 yesterday.

+1....Adam Jones has EARNED a starting CB spot....Newman & Henry ummm...not so much....

Adam Jones
O Scandrick
M Jenkins

our future CB’s might have the added pressure of producing right now….

Adam Jones is playing like he’s our best defender….period

didn't brees just turn the ball over...

he fumble twice and throw an INT. So I guess there are no perfect quarterbacks.

Q & A:

Q: Ok, now that we have seen for the past three weeks teams attempting to double TO, pressed the receivers and blitz Romo, what would you all say is the next step in the evolution of this Cowboys offense? Every team in the league might attempt to replicate, what should Jason Garrett do to tinker with this “well oiled machine?”

Nick Eatman: I think the problem is that no other receiver is consistently helping in the passing game. Crayton has had a few nice plays and Austin had that one game, but the Cowboys need some speed down the field. If the defenses are doubling T.O. and putting eight in the box to stop the run, well then someone has to beat a double team. Witten has been great over the middle, but they need a stretch-guy and we haven’t seen that so far. That’s been the biggest problem that I see so far.

The Hamburgerler strikes again.

Why would Payton ever sign him? I think they should call Richie Cunningham. (LOL)

Pretty wild game

I think the ST coach for the Vikings may actually be worse than Bruce Read.
