Dr. Ztupid can shove it
What is it about the Cowboys that seems to capture so many people's fancy? Capture so many fancy people? Fancy capturing so many people! I mean, is it the arrival of rodeo season or what? Personally I find it kind of a rich boys' team with an apathetic fan base.
I mean, I've gone through the stands there, as a sociological project, to find out how many working people attend their games. Doing the research wasn't easy. I'd stop and ask a person, "Do you work?" wouldn't get a reply and would move on to someone else. Actually, I got one response. I asked this gentleman, "Do you work?" and without looking at me he said, "I'll call Security." This puzzled me because I am not familiar with the gentleman he named. At any rate, sociology is not a meaningful study in Texas Stadium.

And what exactly do you do for a living Dr. Ztupid? And how much do you get paid for doing it? Pot meet kettle.

I had to read that article 3 times
before it started to make any sort of sense to me. What a lame and confusing attempt at humor.
But, then again, it is Dr. Z.

Z is the Ray Stone
of the print industry, vague no real insight but manages to keep a job. His protege, Peter “pumpkin eater” King.

he's very brilliant
why doesn’t someone ask him how his prediction of 13-3 for the Eagles is turning out? In the early 90’s during our run he never picked Dallas to go to the SB, and then when they made it, he predicted them to lose. The bottom line with Dr Z is that he is a Northeast Guy, and most Northeast writers hate the Cowboys.
The worst is though is that style of writing is so horrible it gives you a headache to read, he can write a 2 page article, of which only 4-5 lines will actually be coherent.

In his defense
Dr. Z has championed Cliff Harris and Chuck Howley to be in the hall of fame, and says he will argue on behalf of and vote for Darren Woodson when his name comes up

Dr Z: "Why the Bills Will Beat The Cowboys", January 1993
That’s all I need to know about that idiot and his viewpoints. 52-17 Einstein.

That was probably just his foolish pride.
After all, his pre-season Super Bowl pick that year was the veteran Broncos beating a “too young” Cowboys.

And it should have been 59-10
If it weren’t for Lett’s brain freeze, and that stupid TD pass by Reich at the end of the half.

i like reading Dr Z
but he does seem to hate the Cowboys, I think it goes back to him writing a book about Thomas: Duane Thomas and the Fall of America’s Team

Keep in mind..
that Zimmerman had (still has?) a major hard on for Tex Schram. I mean a deep and disturbing hate of the man. He has referred to Tex as a trinket salesman, con man, snake oil salesman, etc, in the past. Obviously some bad blood between the two of them somewhere in their past. And Zimmerman comes across as the type of guy that never lets go of a grudge. Stubborn old fool comes to mind.
